"I found a sweet and terrified dog with no collar approaching a major intersection. I was so worried this adorable yorkie was injured. I brought her to Veterinary Emergency Group in the South Loop and was welcomed with open arms by all. The space was immaculate. After locating a chip, I surrendered this pup and she will be here while they try to locate the owner. Still can’t believe how friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, and gracious everyone was. I would recommend to anybody in Chicago to come to VEG South Loop for all of your veterinary needs."

"Recently, my pup had gotten really sick so we brought him in since his primary vet didn’t have availability. My dog ended up having a high fever and pneumonia! The vets were honest with everything including pricing and whether or not he would get better. They took care of him right away and mentioned we were able to stay with him as long as we wanted since they planned for him to be there for 24-48 hours. They made me feel as comfortable as possible and made sure my dog was getting the care he needed! I really appreciate the whole team for all the hard work and care towards my dog. My dog is getting better and I cannot thank them enough! We have been here multiple times unfortunately because as a puppy my dog has eaten things he wasnt supposed to. And also for my kitty’s health problems but every time, the team at VEG has taken care of them. I recommend this place because the team shows they care and they actually let you stay with your pet for the most part. Thank you VEG again for doing your part and always being there!"

"My cat Missy was not feeling well for a couple days. I decided to bring her in to find out what was wrong. They let you go with your pet and see everything they’re doing. They have a nice waiting room and an extra room that’s a bit more private. Have coffee, tea, and snacks. Super professional and have great communication skills. Explain tests costs and after care in detail. Found out my girl had a fever but she got some medicine and is doing great now. She’s back to running around with her brother like nothing happened. Very thankful to VEG for taking care of her."

"Thank you so much VEG team for being with me during the scariest moment of my life. The VEG team reminds you that kindness, compassion, and love exists in this world. They took such great care of my girl Scout while she got extremely sick on an accidental drug overdose. They took me through everything step by step to make sure I understood and that I was involved in every single step of the process. I was able to spend as much time as I wanted with my girl and she was allowed to have visitors. I full heartily believe Scout recovered so well because she wasn't separated from her loved ones. The staff was extremely accommodating, professional, and they just genuinely care. Hopefully I don't have to ever come back, but if Scout ever has an emergency, this is where she'll be taken care of. "This is by far one of the most amazing animal hospitals I have ever been in. All the Dr’s and staff are all amazing people. They honestly care with all their hearts about our babies the way we do. They have private rooms for parents who want to stay with their fur babies over night if need be. Which in my opinion is amazing! Although my baby didn’t survive her issues I would 100% tell anyone and everyone I know to take your fur babies here in an emergency you definitely won’t regret it! Thank you to all the staff and Drs who tried to save my Remi girl!"
