"Needed a last minute appointment to get paperwork for my son's cat to travel back with him to California. Staff and Dr were very accommodating, informative and friendly. Along with a good ear cleaning and a nail trim he was ready to go! Waiting area and exam room were very clean and Val loved the climbing tree in the exam room! I plan on getting two kittens and will definitely be bringing them here!"
"I have been taking my cats to Thrive for a few years now and have had nothing but great care. Today was a completely different story. I took my cat in for a bump on his head that was broken open as I feared it was infected. He has had this bump for 6 years and I have always been told it was nothing to worry about (by my previous vet AND Thrive). Dr Miculinic confirms that it appears to be infected and he would need an antibiotic injection. Now I have gotten antibiotics for my cats numerous times and they have always offered me the option of the injection OR the liquid. The injection happens to be more expensive (and invasive) so I have always chosen the liquid, as he takes it very well. She proceeds to tell me that he would need “A LOT” of liquid because he’s “very overweight”. He is 7 and 14 lbs. In all of his previous exams, they have never said that he was “very overweight”. She left the room to check the difference in price and came back to tell me it was a $10 difference (at my former vet, it was a $40 difference and THAT is why I even asked). I then asked her if there was a weight charts for cats because I wanted to confirm that he was “very overweight”. She told me that free feeding leads to them being overweight and that he should be around 9-10lbs. Again, I have never been told that previously. I’ll add that this ENTIRE interaction was done with such a condescending attitude. I questioned her because my cat is my child and I have every right to do so. So I just shrugged and said “okay”. As she walks out of the exam room, she says “RIDICULOUS”. The door closes and I can hear her right outside yell “OH MY GOD. I DIDNT REALIZE SHE WAS A DOCTOR”. I cannot even wrap my head around how unprofessional you have to be to yell something like that to a literal customer. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect. This was said so loudly that anyone that was in the building heard it. I asked the tech that brought my cat back for her name and a number that I can contact to report her and this incident. I was only given an email address for the regional manager. I emailed her and am awaiting a response. I’m still having a hard time processing how a medical professional acted like this when I have had nothing but positive experiences at Thrive. It goes without saying that they have lost the business of my entire family and their pets (I highly recommended them to my family and now they all take their pets there). This doctor absolutely needs to be held accountable for her behavior today and she should strongly reconsider her profession, as she clearly lacks total self control and is just miserable."
"Thrive took our cats in for a check up on short notice, and provided us with all the information we need to keep our cats happy and healthy. They are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable, would recommend to any pet owner. Make sure to say hi to their lizard in the front office! (Photo below: They loves the vet so much they actually got back in the cage when we got home)!"
"This was my 1st time visiting the Thrive Pet Healthcare facility and I really felt welcomed. The staff were so nice and professional. My fur babies were sick and I called five veterinary clinics (on a Saturday) and they were the only clinic out of the five that gave me an appointment that same day. I want to thank the staff and my fur babies felt better that night from taking their meds and fluids they received at the clinic due to them being dehydrated❤️"
"Today, a retired greyhound of great value was very sick. At "Thrive Pet Healthcare" he received excellent care. Every last detail was considered for his diagnosis. It felt like a spa day. He is in the process of returning to his happy, relaxed self. Yaaay FF Lucas!"
