"Have stayed here multiple time the past few years, it’s a nice place. The beds are comfy and the staff is kind and helpful. We enjoy the whirlpool suite and the waffles at breakfast!"
"We stayed here while visiting family for the holidays. The lady at the front desk was nice when we checked in. She gave us a late check out at 12 pm. However, the next morning, housekeeping was yelling at my husband telling him to get out of the room because checkout was at 11 am. EVERYTHING in this hotel is completely outdated. The rooms seemed clean enough but not so clean that we felt comfortable. We stayed in a suite which was a very nice sized room for our family of 6. The breakfast in the morning was weird. Lighting in the breakfast room is almost non-existent. It's soooooo dark and the equipment is..... you guessed it.... out dated. That was the only positive thing about this hotel. At checkout the lady working at the front counter seemed bothered to be even working. If I had to choose, I'd pay the extra $20 and stay at a few of the different hotels we've stayed at in the past that are cleaner, updated and the staff doesn't have an attitude."
"Stayed here for a family wedding at their venue attached to the hotel. The venue is very nice. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for somewhere to spend the night. The suites are in serious need of a complete rehab. We had issues with our suite being extremely warm even with the antique heat / cool units turned all the way to the cold side with the fans on high. When I went to the front desk to see what could be done about it I was told to turn those units off and open the windows since it was cool outside. The bathrooms was also awkwardly laid out. Spend your money elsewhere if you want to get any rest..."
"King suite rooms with pull out sofa beds are a 50/50 shot if they work or not. Went to our room, pull out bed is bolted down broken and doesn't pull out. Go to the front desk to ask about it, they shrug their shoulders and tell us its not guaranteed to work. They still charge the same amount for a room even though it's not guaranteed to work. They offered to put us in a new room, which we said yes to. The second room was worse than the first. Smelled like a used ash tray, broken coffee pot. We were told to talk to the manager in the morning, however, they just shrugged and said ok thanks for the information. No apologies or cares were given."
"Room reeked of smoke. They wouldn't give us another room, even at another location. Took forever to get a refund. Added in response to the hotel: 1. We wouldn't have had this problem at all if you kept your rooms clean, would we? Or if you'd even had the decency to call us when the previous guest in that room checked out and your cleaning staff noticed the smoke. Again, the room absolutely reeked. There was no reason this should have been a surprise to anyone when we checked in. 2. You're part of a massive chain. When I've had problems with rooms at other chains and they couldn't get me another room at the location I booked, they transferred the reservation to another of their chain's locations and even price matched. If your chain can't manage that, it's not a point in your favor. 3. You chose to overbook your hotel without having a plan to manage any problems that might come up. Your bad business decisions do not earn you any sympathy in my review. 4. Thanks for the information on the refund. Unlike your hotel, my card issuer has excellent customer service, and I have no doubt they'll take care of it."
