"If I could give Dr. Cook zero stars I would. In January of 2023 he performed laparoscopic surgery within my pelvis to try identify what was causing my extreme pelvic pains. After only 20 minutes of looking around he closed me up. He told my loved ones waiting for me that he couldn’t find anything that would be causing my pelvic pains & suggested I was psychosomatic. He suggested I start talk therapy and taking antidepressants. When my loved ones told him that can’t be possible & asked for other suggestions he had none. Gaslighting at its best. I was devastated that I wasn’t believed & told by my doctor that I was making all of this up. For a few days I questioned if I was making it up & thought I must be going crazy. But as my pains continued on just as they were before he preformed surgery on me I knew something was wrong & he just wasn’t specialized enough to be able to identify it. I fired him as my doctor & reported him to his department within IU hospital. I appreciate the staff at IU for taking this matter seriously. Although I doubt Dr. Cook learned anything from this experience & I would safely assume that if this happened to me it has happened to others."

"Is not sympathetic at all. As I was going through a horrific experience he had no compassion or empathy and wanted to argue with me over a pamphlet that he said he hadn't reviewed in 5 to 10 years so he has no idea what IU Health is handing out to his patients. 10/10 don't recommend."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Cook's for 9 years, and he is without question the best doctor I have ever had. He delivered my son a few years ago and he has been a wonderful steward of my care over the years. He is extremely intelligent and compassionate and I completely trust him with every facet of my health. I highly recommend this doctor!"

"This man is a terrible ob! He denied my daughter a sesection when her pelvic was not dialated and was in labor for 2 days in distress and she is a type 1 diabetic! The next day a new doctor had to come in and had 3 nurses on top of my daughter to get the baby out! Cause bruises all of the babys face and sholder displacea! Baby was in nicu because of him and we plan on taking legal action against him and is malpractice! Dont let him no ware near you or delivery room!"
