"My oldest daughter started there in 8th grade at the middle school. She excelled and was no longer having problems with school issues(bullying). She went on to IPA (the high school) in which she has excelled (straight A student all 4 yrs.) due to the IEP that was developed for her. She is now a senior and off to college in fall. They even go as far as to put up posters of their students who have been accepted to college. She is becoming a teacher and its all due to the care she has gotten from this school. The middle school went to great lengths to help my mentally ill and autistic son (who has had an IEP since he was 2 yrs old) so he can be successful. I now have my youngest daughter at the middle school and plan for my youngest son to go there. He has the same disorders and diagnosis as my oldest son. this school corporation goes to great lenghts to make sure their students are college ready and ready for life. They also give them self confidence and esteem. I love the staff as well."

"It is a great school if your child does not have disabilities. My son has a form of high functioning autism as well as ADHD. They promised me they would work with my child as best as they could but did not do so. He has been bullied by other children & the school was aware of that but did nothing to change it. My child does not like to be touch especially in an aggressive way. So when these kids are bullying my child & him doing nothing about it while coming home with bruises, marks & blood on him nothing was said to me unless I brought it up but when my child panics and freaks out on another student I got phone calls stating I need to pick him up because he is being suspended. My son would sometimes cry bloody murder before school because he didn't want to go because he said he was being bullied by a student that was bullying him the previous year & they was aware of that as well. My child has a specialist that comes to the school once a week because of his disability but when it was brought up by me, the faculty acted suprised. I had told them in the beginning of the school year that my child had ADHD & was autistic so that they were aware because he is unmedicated. One month left in school & they want to talk about his disability & to set up a plan that they should have done in the beginning of the school year. I stuck through it all school year until I finally felt like I had no choice but unenroll him from school for the summer. But that is not the only issue I had. I had enrolled my child into before/after school because I get off of work at the same time he gets off (3). I get a phone call at 4 while I am sitting in the parking lot from the superintendent stating he is going to call the police to come pick my child up because I was not there at 3. I paid for before/after care for my child, so why would you do such a thing? The superintendent was very rude, tried to lie & say his account was on hold & his teacher lied & said he got into trouble so he's not allowed to go back. So I called after school program personally & they stated that my child had never gotten in trouble at after school & that my account is not on hold but will refund my money to me because of the way I was treated. So now I feel like this whole school year was a lie & made my child feel bad for stuff he didn't do & made me feel like a terrible parent for his disability. So if your child has a disability don't bring yoir child here. If you are a young single parent, don't bring your child here."
