"I'm a senior at this school. It's a great school. The school is big it has a lot of fields like baseball fields, football fields, tennis courts, and a running field. Some of the students are ignorant rude and are the worst but what count's is that It has great programs like CNA class, car shop, beauty class, cooking class and other programs. Those programs are really awesome. I'm in the CNA class and I'm studying become a nursing assistant and get my nursing assistant license, it's really exciting cause I'll be able to get a job and work along side with nurses. The pay rate is great for a CNA. So the programs and the teachers makes the school great not the students."

"This school has many great learning opportunities but the environment is downright awful. Most of the students are ignorant and fights happen just about everyday and there is trash left everywhere in the student center. One student had asked me if I had dollar I said “I do but I’m not going to give it to you” and proceeded to cuss me out and almost punch me. the school environment is not only trashy but it is dangerous. The principal is ok but there are two assistant principals there that are just plain rude and always have an attitude. I don’t know their names but they just always thinks someone is up to no good. However most of the teachers are nice and they definitely do their best to help you out"

"This is a good high school. I am currently in 9th grade and definitely better than my middle school. There are tons of extra-curricular activities to do after school including Student Council, Book Club, they even have a Nintendo Club, to name a few and ironically, I am in all 3 of those things. You don't have to worry about your kids being bullied, because this school does not tolerate bullying. If someone does bullying, tell the dean and they'll take care of it. So, if you have a kid who's currently in 8th grade, send them to North Central next year, I promise, they will love it. Your kid will also make at least 2 friends here, I've made more friends here than I made in middle school, so take it from me. The teachers are also very amazing, they want to see you succeed in their classrooms, so pay attention. However, there are two flaws with school, the first one is that it's a big school, so it's easy to get lost, so ask for directions until you get the hang of things. The second flaw is that there are 3,638 students in the school, including myself, so it's always crowded during passing periods, but you'll find away around them, so don't worry about it. I highly recommend this high school for any 8th grader who isn't currently living in Washington Township district."

"Very good school! There is so much opportunity here & so many resources available for kids to excel. Dedicated teachers are true leaders & role models. It's true about the athletic programs being too intense. If that's not your thing, there are many other extracurricular activities to try out, including over 100 different clubs! Most importantly is the emphasis on academic excellence & we are very pleased so far."

"Its a good public school if you are enrolled in the Honors Program with AP classes. Although the school is quite big, you are part of a small community with dedicated teachers and students when you are part of the honors program. I can't speak to the quality of non-honors classes. However, there is a disproportionate emphasis on Arts and Sciences in the honors program. Business and career classes are informally reserved for the blue-collar students who are not on the college track. It would be great if there was a greater emphasis on technology, business, accounting and economics in the honors program. If you are looking to do Pre-Law and Pre-Med in college,- then North Central will serve you well. However, if you are looking for a Business or Technology degree in college, you will find that NC prepares you woefully poorly for that. Athletic teams are very competetive and if you are looking to play just for the fun of the game, you will be ill served here. Has a great performing arts program for the vocally and theatrically inclined, but visual arts programs suffer. Foreign language instruction is mostly sub-par. It would be great if the school be more innovative in its teaching curriculum and provide greater opportunties to study business and computer science. The school is great at getting students into colleges, not so great at helping students develop skills for the new economy. I know I would have benefited, had I spent less time in humanities classes and more time in business classes."
