"They've been promising to install a washer/dryer in my unit since last year, but it still hasn't happened. Most apartments already have them, yet I'm stuck using the old, inadequate washer/dryer. Living on the third floor, we should be prioritized as we don't have any washer/dryer on our floor. The new machines have been sitting in the hallway for nearly two weeks now."

"I lived at the Marott for three years and overall it was a quality downtown apartment. I was on the 10th floor with a 1BD 1BA. The on-site facilities like the gym, pool, gated parking (the fob sometimes didn't work on the back gate) and 24 hour concierge were a great resource to have. It's location makes it very easy to get anywhere downtown within 15 minutes and it is walking distance from places of interest within the Fall Creek area. The reason I moved was due to constant noise from being downtown from sirens and loud cars coming on Fall Creek throughout the night as well as no washer and dryer in your unit. You get great views on the upper floors but it is a trade-off too cold Winters with the aluminum windows that have bad seals. It is a small apartment for the price you pay, but it's a trade- off the for location. Its a good option for a downtown apartment for students or young professionals."

"This is a wonderful place to live. Absolutely stunning and beautiful. We loved the parking that is included, indoor hot tub and pool, outdoor pool. Lora at the front desk is amazing. If you are looking for a place that is extremely close to downtown, yet not directly downtown, this is your place."

"Short story: Live here! I loved living at the Marott. The building and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. The staff are all wonderful (shout out to Lora at the first desk!). They are always friendly and addressed any issues promptly. Other pros: secure storage for packages, 24/7 concierge desk, free gated parking, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), cool residents, a gym, and bragging rights that your apartment may be the unit that Marilyn Monroe stayed in. Downtown is less than a 10 minute drive and 15 minutes to Broad Ripple. Fall Creek Place has a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Cons: Regarding the old windows, yeah, they suck, especially during the winter (Dec/Jan). I found window tape (not the large plastic sheets--too ugly) to be helpful. It's "

"I enjoyed living here, but there are a few issues with the old building that made me decide to move out. The windows let in so much cold air during the winters that you'll have to invest in other ways to keep the unit warm, and the bay windows tend to detach when the winds are too strong. The elevators frequently break down, washers and dryers are expensive to use, and these apartments are just not worth their price. However, the maintenance and building staff were absolutely amazing, and made living here much better. (Laura is awesome!!) I had to request a new water heater at one point, and the maintenance team was at my door with a new one within thirty minutes of my call. The new property manager is very nice and seems to be making good changes to the building. Overall, my time here was good, but I can no longer justify living here for the price."
