"I've lived here for 17 years. Just one year ago in February 2023, my rent was $744.00. In April last year, they raised it to $864.00. This April, they're raising it to $962.00. I'm on Social Security. This used to be reasonably priced place to live untill Glick bought. I'm retired and 74. I don't know what to do."

"Beautiful newly renovated apartments! Trash is taken regularly and the grounds are kept nicely. Neighbors mind their business and things are quiet in the winter. During the summer, when the kids are out of school, they do run loose but are usually in bed by midnight. Overall, great first place to live."

"The reason I did not give 5 stars is due to Jaquita, the INCREDIBLY rude and unprofessional woman who was working with my daughter. My daughter is blind and cognitively impaired, due to a traumatic brain injury. She currently lives in another Glick complex and is trying to get out of an abusive situation. She applied at Bradford lakes because her sister recently moved there (under similar circumstances, as she was also in an abusive situation) and would be close to help her after move in. She was being moved in on an emergency basis, transfering from her current place under HUD's Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA). For those unfamiliar with VAWA, The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is a federal law that, in part, provides housing protections for people applying for or living in units subsidized by the federal government and who have experienced domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, to help keep them safe and reduce their likelihood of experiencing homelessness. Let me start with stating that I was not the one who took her to her initial appointment, my partner took her to that appointment. During that appointment, Jaquita was incredibly rude and impatient with my daughter. She was upset that my daughter was running late (her husband, sensing something was going on, kept trying to keep her from leaving the house) and was making very rude comments to her and my partner. Additionally, she was getting frustrated with my daughter because she was having to explain things to her more than once AND for not being able to see to sign paperwork. At the end of the appointment, my partner gave Jaquita her contact information. They were VERY specific about having her contact my partner with any information about her move in. Aside from wanting to keep it from her husband, my daughter has VERY poor short term memory and wouldn't be able to remember any information she gave her. Despite this, she never contacted my partner. As a matter of fact, she never even contacted my daughter, we had to find out from another employee when her appointment was. We had no idea what monies would be owed. Upon arrival to the office, my daughter was terrified. She is trying to leave her abuser, who is also her caretaker. She was still very hesitant to leave, anyone who has been in a situation like this, can understand how difficult this can be. In addition to the normal challenges of leaving this type of situation, she would be living alone with her two year old child. This would be the first time she has ever lived alone, let alone lived alone with her son. She was crying and could hardly put one foot in front of the other to get inside the door. Jaquita ONCE AGAIN had no patience for the situation and as we were in the hallway trying to build my daughter's courage up, Jaquita kept coming out and making little snide comments. Once we were FINALLY able help her understand the urgency to sign the paperwork, Jaquita tells us we need to have a money order for the monies owed. I offered to go get the money order while my daughter signed the paperwork and she REFUSED to let her sign anything until she had the money order in her hand. At this point, my daughter got very upset and left. BECAUSE OF THIS WOMAN'S RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR, MY DAUGHTER WALKED AWAY AND BACK INTO A SITUATION THAT THREATENS HER LIFE. Since she didn't go through with the appointment, she lost her place on the waiting list and lost her apartment. Thankfully, Emily (the asst. manager) was there as we were leaving and we told her what happened. Since then, she has done everything within her abilty to try and remedy the situation. Emily is wonderful, she has been very helpful and empathetic, as someone in her position SHOULD be. She has definately gone above and beyond to assist my child. I'm filing a formal complaint with HUD against Jaquita. Additionally, I feel she has retaliated against my other daughter because of the situation. This woman does NOT need to be working with a vulnerable population, such as abuse victims!"

"This place has such kind, caring staff members. They go above and beyond to make sure their residents are taken care of, well beyond what their job description requires. They care about all their residents, as well as anyone who comes in their simply to inquire. Emily Kingrey is the staff member who helped my step-daughter. Emily went above and beyond to help her. The help she gave my step-daughter has brought the life back into her eyes. She took the time to listen to her, help her handle what was needed (and then some), and my step-daughter now has a beautifully renovated townhouse. I can not express how much I appreciate Emily and Bradford Lake Apartments. Thank you for all you guys do!"

"The office it's closed and is scheduled as 10 to 5 pm some times it's open and some time not during the 10 to 5 period to accept Wednesday is in-house staffing I have lived here for 25 yrs and I love it ...not always what is going on then and now but I can remember when Gene glick the true owner owned this place this is totally different he has passed on now. he kept it nice. neighbors some of the are long timers too.we would sit on step and chat. The security man would come around and wave at him. Now we have no idea who security is..we had crime watch and community meetings some fun times to. renovated and it's during that time renovation is hard on((( both sides))) the ((-office and renters )) they sent a letter of the finished apt show only the finished apt first nice. But they are adding new stuff everyday so we the tenets have to guess what's happening next.letters are on some doors but not all. We have to ask neighbors if this was done yet to their apt and watch while progress is made.We then know our building might be next. they said not to worry when it was over it was really going to look nice so we'll see.??? I think my personal opinion they should ask tents new things that can work and what hasn't worked in the past make changes if they want to. These pot hold need to be fixed they are part of Bradford lake and not the city these big trucks up and down that street."
