"I rented a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit about a month ago, and I already know that I made a huge mistake. About 2-3 weeks after moving in, the price for my unit dropped by about $500-$600. I am paying the rate that you can currently rent a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. This type of price drop is unfair and attracts unsavory characters. I contacted the corporate office who pretty much told me that there is nothing that they will do about it. I hear loud music and loud cars driving through the property at all hours of the day and night. I see odd people around the property at all hours of the day and night, and I don't feel safe here. I am not sure if there is security here, but I have never seen anyone drive around. I have lived in luxury properties for years and this does not meet the criteria. I moved from out of town and pretty much relied on the pictures (the pictures are deceiving). I can't believe that this is a fairly new construction because it seems dated and has not had good preventative maintenance or capex (I am not referring to the maintenance manager who works hard, but some things are not within his control). When I moved in, I had new carpet installed. Whoever installed the carpet left items under the carpet so I am walking on top of whatever these items are. The installers left a huge mess for me to clean up and there were some type of bugs nestled in the carpet. I am still finding these bugs throughout the apartment. There is a skylight type window in my apartment that is covered in spiderwebs with dead bugs that is unreachable unless you have a really tall ladder. There were tons of problems that I had upon move in that I will not mention because the office staff and maintenance manager worked diligently to fix them. In addition, there is a mandatory fee for trash valet. I live across the drive from the dumpster and have never used this service, but I am required to pay the fee. In a few years, this property will be completely run down because decent people will not want to live here. I am debating on if I should pay the money to break my lease or just wait it out. I would not recommend this property to anyone but miscreants. Be warned."
"Units are clean and new, rent is reasonable compared to other apartments, maintenance tends to be solid, the staff is welcoming and it’s pretty safe. I lived here for 2 years and don’t have many complaints. My only critique is that while the gym is clean and looks nice, the machines wobble a lot and the selection isn’t impressive."
"I love living here! well worth it! From the awesome ladies in the office to the fast, professional, courteous maintenance staff. The apartments are gorgeous and the property is well kept ! I was recently locked out of my apartment. The key would turn but not engage the dead-bolt. It was cold, windy, and i had to use the restroom. The office was closed so I called the emergency number and i was in my apartment in a matter of 10-15 minutes. That's top-notch in my book."
"Update - Management has changed multiple times since I moved in a couple years ago. My rent increased almost $200 each year while my neighbor, same layout but has an attached garage (I don’t) rent increased only $95 and rent is SIGNIFICANTLY less than what I pay. No one EVER answers the phone in the office. I literally have to email and request a phone call to talk to a staff member. The price they charge is ridiculous and saddens me because I actually love my apartment. But when my neighbor pays less and has a garage it’s time to go. Tiffany the Property Manager is absolutely AMAZING!! My first encounter with her made me want to live at the Timber’s. It is very obvious she takes pride in her work and cares about her residents/community. She exudes grace and compassion and I am grateful to now call this community my home. She handled me, other individuals, and various tasks effortlessly. The rest of her team are also rock stars and I follow up with any concerns without hesitation. The Timber’s is a very calm, friendly, and welcoming environment! I don’t think I can get any better from an apartment community!"
