"The location is great on the best block of W Main St & being a stone's throw from the Monon…plus it’s the best part of the Monon too. Go one way & you have restaurants, bars & shops galore with the Palladium & Torrington Theaters further along. Go the other way & you have a lovely shaded path to stroll, walk, jog, run, rollerblade, bike…you name it. The Monon makes Carmel amazing & unique & it’s just a minute away. Let me also add Stacie, Gillian, Mike, Jim & the rest of the crew are truly on the ball. Even with the most minor repair, they are on top of it. Mike also does a terrific job keeping the sidewalks & parking lot clean. Thank you to you all for all you do."
"First of all, when ever I have need help with anything, and I mean anything Stacie and Jillian have it taken care of immediately. The whole Old Town On The Monon team are always super friendly and eager to help however they can. The complex is solid quality construction and couldn’t be in a better location. Everything you would ever need is nearby, including the Monon Trail right outside. I have felt blessed to be living here from the very beginning. All the residents I’ve met seem like very nice and high quality people which tells me Stacie and Jillian are selective about who the rent to. Anyhow to make a long story short, The Old Town In The Monon apartments won’t disappoint……and it’s hard to believe how much is going on within walking distance."
"I absolutely loved living here. Stacie and Gilliane are the sweetest ladies and always very helpful. I lived in a 2nd floor 1/1 looking down on main street and the apartment was very spacious. Very rarely could hear the people living above me. The street noise was typically very quite unless someone was revving an engine - but still did not find it disruptive. It was super convenient to the shops, restaurants and festivals in Carmel and great that I could walk to the farmers market. The area is extremely safe to live. I often had to go to and from work in the middle of the night but never felt unsafe. I also never had trouble finding parking in the reserved lots, even when there was a festival nearby. I had to place a few maintenance requests over the year I was there and they were promptly handled usually same day or the next morning. I only moved out as I was taking a job in another state or I would still be living there today."
"Stacy, the general manager at Old Town On The Monon, was incredibly helpful in assisting my wife and I with setting up our lease. Her dedication and commitment to providing excellent customer service made most of the process smooth and enjoyable, when not working with the other female employee at the front desk. From the moment we first contacted Stacy, she displayed a high level of professionalism and a genuine desire to help. She took the time to listen to our needs and preferences, understanding that finding the right apartment is crucial for a comfortable living experience. Stacy was patient and attentive, answering all your questions and addressing any concerns we had about the leasing process. One of the remarkable qualities Stacy possesses is her extensive knowledge of the property. She provided detailed information about the available units, amenities, and the surrounding neighborhood, ensuring you had a clear understanding of what Old Town On The Monon had to offer. Stacy went above and beyond by offering personalized recommendations based on our preferences, helping my wife and I choose the perfect apartment that suited our lifestyle. Throughout the leasing process, Stacy was prompt and efficient in handling paperwork and administrative tasks. She guided us step by step, explaining each document and making sure we understood the terms and conditions of the lease agreement. Stacy's thoroughness and attention to detail gave us peace of mind, knowing that everything was handled correctly. Moreover, Stacy's friendly and welcoming nature created a positive and comfortable atmosphere. She made my wife and I feel valued and appreciated as future residents of Old Town On The Monon. Her genuine enthusiasm for her job was evident, as she shared her own experiences and stories about the community, further enhancing our excitement about living there. Overall, Stacy's exceptional customer service, knowledge, and dedication played a significant role in making your leasing experience at Old Town On The Monon pleasant and hassle-free. Her commitment to helping us find the perfect apartment, combined with her professionalism and friendly demeanor, made a lasting impression."
"It’s not bad but when you compare it to the surrounding apartments it’s extremely outdated. When I first moved in I was told rent would go up but only about $7, now it has been raised to nearly $200. Standard black appliances, carpeting, and the walls scuff with just a touch. The space is not utilized very well. The hallways are extremely long, very little to none closet space and storage. I think the loft area is meant to be storage but that just looks tacky storing boxes on top of a ledge that’s visible. The cabinets are nice, cheap granite but it looks better the bathroom countertop which is nothing special. Getting packages are kind of a pain when it’s delivered to the leasing office. If they’re out touring someone, the door is locked and you just have to guess when they’ll be back to retrieve your package. I’d recommend the more updated apartments in the area since the rent is about up to par with those now!"
