"Beautiful place to live, very professional and friendly management. The complex is kept super clean. Amenities are nice and close to many restaurants, monon trail, shops and more. Right in the middle of downtown Carmel. I have two bedrooms, the large windows allow a lot of light to come in. Special thanks to Brooke. She made my move very easy with her great help. I highly recommend this complex."

"Carmel Center Apartments was a lovely place to live. Now, moving into the Carmel Center Luxury Apartment is like boarding the Titanic after you've seen the iceberg – a disaster waiting to happen. As a long-standing resident, I feel compelled to share my personal experiences, particularly in light of the recent transition in management. The Carmel Center Apartment Complex, formerly under the stewardship of NTS, has now been taken over by the Connor Group. I have nothing but praise for NTS – their commitment to quality and community was exemplary. They genuinely treated every resident like family, evident in the smallest gestures, such as their warm phone etiquette, to grander gestures like hosting enriching events for residents and commissioning a unique mural for the complex. Their dedication was indeed unparalleled. However, since the Connor Group has assumed control, there has been a noticeable and rapid decline in the overall quality of the complex. This deterioration has occurred within just a few months, despite repeated expressions of concern from numerous residents, including my household. Regrettably, these concerns seem to have fallen on deaf ears, as no noticeable improvements have been made. Among the changes implemented by the new management, several have been particularly disconcerting. These include frequent billing errors that take time to address, a significant increase in trash accumulation, overflowing bins for dog waste, rampant littering of cigarette butts, poorly maintained amenities, and the abrupt introduction of new policies with little notice for residents to comply. These issues have not only caused repeated inconveniences but have also raised serious concerns among many tenants. I had initially hoped that these challenges were simply teething problems and that the new management would eventually find their footing. To get a comprehensive understanding of their management style and history, I would suggest doing an online search on the Connor Group. For those considering Carmel Center as a potential home, I urge you to reconsider. If you are a current resident or planning to move out soon, I believe it is our communal responsibility to share our experiences with the Connor Group. It is important that potential and current residents are aware of these issues to make informed decisions about their living arrangements."

"I love my apartment ! I’m in a one bedroom apartment (chestnut hill). I have four windows and I have gorgeous sunlight coming in everyday. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The maintenance is FIVE STAR. I love living in Carmel, it’s a walk about community and perfect location. I have perfect parking and it is very quiet."

"*This review was for the old management. The complex is now under a new management company.* We are coming up on almost two years here and my experience has been nothing but fantastic. The amenities are a great and the community is very dog/animal friendly, no breed restrictions. Maintenance is always quick to reply as are the office staff, who are a delight to speak to! They are always trying to improve the community and add new features, such as a bike hub where you can safely store your bike in a well-lit area. If you are looking for an affordable place in the downtown area of Carmel this is it!"
