Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel

"Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable. Soft beds. Best part was the breakfast buffet. Not free, but so delicious. We booked last minute so didn't bring our swim suits. Next time. Great staff as well."

"Hotel and rooms were clean. Before our stay we inquired on an available space so that our soccer team could have a team dinner, with food brought in. We were told that we would have to reserve a conference room and that rooms were $600 but they could give us one for $300. Upon receipt, we were charged an additional 24% for "food and beverage" charge, of which 12% was for waitstaff and another 12% was an administrative fee. We had zero food and beverages from the hotel and were not provided any sort of service or assistance. We even had to find our own garbage receptacles so that we could clean. Happy to pay a small fee for clean up but disappointed in the amount charged beyond the quote. In hindsight, we really didn't even need the conference room as there was plenty of available space in the lounge area. Seems like the hotel was out to take whatever money they could from their patrons."

"We stayed for a baseball tournament and I was blown away by the amazing service we got from the staff. They accommodated our large group of excited and loud kids with a smile. I've seen some really subpar hotels and service at various tournaments and I was so incredibly impressed here. Great staff, great service, and very welcoming facilities."

"Good location. Hotel is aged and not well cared for. Checked in and room was damaged when we got upstairs. Area around refrigerator was completely busted away from the wall. Big chucks out the one wall. Ascetics pieces in the room falling off. 1 of the 2 main elevators was out of service all weekend. Service elevator was stuck on the 6th floor a big part Friday evening. Tv was unplugged. Staff seemed uncaring when we went to document the damage right after checking in. Acted like the room damage was normal for this hotel. Had to force them to document it. Staff only seemed to care about a wedding party on Saturday evening not any of the other guests."

"Haven't even checked in and so far one of the worst hotels experiences I've ever had. Only staying there because of a baseball tournament. When it's a sporting event they make you book two days. For a week I've been trying to modify the reservation because we don't have any games until the weekend. Wasn't having luck through the third party app contacted the hotel directly they helped change my reservation to one day. Then today on check-in day I get an email a little while ago saying I have to go through the third party. I'm told to contact them through email I send them an email they tell me I have to go through the hotel. So it's all a big game, I guess they split the difference that they overcharge you for the hotel rooms to begin with. Hopefully when we do finally get there the stays actually worthwhile"
