"I have seen Dr Gurmendi for over ten years and am about to have to find someone else. Dr G is a great doctor and we have developed a strong rapport, but Lois is a constant problem. She has interfered with my treatment numerous occasions and doesn’t hesitate to belittle me and my family any chance she gets. She is constantly using condescending language and is impossible to work with at all. She confuses my medication constantly and I am unable to resolve any issues with her due to her belligerent and rude demeanor."

Dr G is enthusiastic and very encouraging. He not only prescribes medications when needed. He actually talks to me and we dig down deep into what works best for me. He is the best!"

"I have seen Dr. Gurmendi for 4 years and loved him. But Louis the secretary is one of the rudest humans I have ever encountered. When dealing with patients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, etc you DO NOT treat them like idiots. You DO NOT hang up on them. I have never missed an appt or caused an issue. But I find myself not wanting to even call to ask a question because I have to speak to her. I am now looking for a new dr. I'm so disappointed but I haven't felt this low about myself in a while.... and it's all over getting my feelings hurt from the only secretary at the place I go to to FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF. Kinda sad right?"
