"My first visit with Angel Jernigan was back in 2011 after my 21 year old son passed. During that time she was located on the Southside of Birmingham. She was so compassionate and was always attentive and caring. I did not attend many sessions due to her moving to another location which at the time was inconvenient for me. The sessions I spent with her were well worth my time and I wish I could have finished my limited sessions with her. She improved my well being tremendously in the short time I spent with her and I couldn’t imagine how much better and how much sooner I would have been able to cope with losing my son had I continued all my sessions."

Appointments are casual, comfortable and feel more like talking to an incredibly educated, highly trustworthy and well-balanced friend who has your best interest at heart and knows just how to help you in each unique situation. She must carefully book her appointments because she is always is on-time, yet very generous in giving a few extra minutes if you are immersed in an emotional place or close to an important moment of self discovery. I never hesitate to recommend Angel to family and friends, and she has been monumental in not just saving my marriage but helping me to understand and love both myself and my spouse in a beautiful new light. She is not the "sit behind a clipboard and doodle" type. She listens thoughtfully like a detective, offering highly relevant questions and insight that seem to perfectly lead to opportunities of introspection, deep personal understanding, and ultimately, self-love. I always joke that she has the perfect name, but the truth is, she honestly is an "angel" in my life. My husband and I both feel extremely grateful to have discovered such a special and skilled therapist who has truly improved our lives and family. Thank you, Angel!"
