Reviews
"All medical professionals are very professional, kind and helpful. If you’re concerned about the negative reviews, I’d reconsider and take the chance with this place. However, the people who answer the phone to help schedule appointments consistently have an attitude problem. You will be treated well by the medical staff, but staff helping you with appointments always has a chip on their shoulder."
"Went in with a missing rib and left with some Tylenol and a “we’ll call you back,” that never came. My friend has been sick 3 times in the past MONTH and they said that it’s normal. Absolutely horrible medical care if you need anything at all go anywhere else. The staff friendly and I hold nothing personal but the place is a glorified high school nurses office. If your problem requires tylenol or ice this is the place to go."
"The doctors don’t know what they’re doing!!! Only go here if you want to be wrongfully diagnosed! It sucks and should be shut down."
"I was expecting a very unpleasant experience based on the reviews I'd been seeing on Google, but I've been to the SHC twice so far and both times everyone was incredibly helpful, polite, and warm. As a very nervous, introverted person, I was incredibly relieved at just how friendly everyone was. One person called me 'kiddo' a couple times, which is annoying but certainly not a Problem. I've had a few extended phone calls with the SHC as well, asking questions about various things and trying to get a scheduling issue sorted out. The people helping me went above and beyond to make sure everything got taken care of, or that I knew where to go for the answer. I hope future visits are as pleasant as these have been, because this has been a remarkably nice surprise."
"It’s a bit difficult to get an appointment for what you need and the desk ladies and nurses and very condescending. I went in because I developed a cough out of nowhere and had chest pain, and the nurse told me I was anxious and had allergies from it being Spring. I started feeling worse so I went to a doctor off campus, who immediately could tell I had pneumonia. Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless it’s something extremely minor or just picking up a prescription."
