"My Daughter was there and had an amazing experience. They took care of her, and even me. I wanted to stay with her, and showed me how to get the hidden bed out. Way cool. She had a huge flat TV on the wall, and the shower/restroom was extremely large. Awesome treatment and tremendous treatment for my Daughter. Thank You Dr's. and Nurses, Medical assistants, and Housekeeping was spectacular A+++++!"

"We had an amazing delivery and newborn experience here. My husband and I had a baby through surrogacy, which is outside of the normal day-to-day labor & delivery procedures. The hospital was so incredibly supportive and made this as easy as can be. The nurses at this hospital are simply amazing, we all got such great care. It was warm, friendly, supportive. I was really amazed at what a lovely experience this was, and I am so thankful for all of the nurses and care in both the labor/delivery and post-partum areas. THANK YOU!!"

"Brought my 17 yr old daughter to Silver Cross ER last night around midnight. The person behind desk was rude from the start. Didn't ask my daughter any questions (how are you feeling, describe your pain)...nothing! Just took her vitals and told us that the PA may be able to see us quick but the PA is on lunch. Told us to go back out to the waiting room. Mind you - my daughter is crying, in severe pain due to head injuries where light AND noise will make it worse. This lady didn't care. Waiting room was packed. An hour later she calls us back up and tells us PA is not on lunch, she is gone for the night and now we will be in line to wait for doc but that will be over 4 hours. Still no empathy, no asking her if her pain level has changed or any kind of medical care questions. Something has changed at Silver Cross in the past year and it is not for the good. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS IT IS YOUR LAST RESORT. Also - I did speak to someone at the hospital about this today and while they listened and assured me they would look into it, I can read all the other negative reviews that go months and months back and that tells me all I need to know. This ER is grossly understaffed, filthy conditions and every staff member needs to be trained on basic medical care again. I appreciate they listened to me but seeing the amount of 1 stars just on google reviews tells me nothing is changing."

"The wait in the emergency room was over 6 hours. After waiting we approached the desk to ask about test results to which we were told that those cannot be discussed without a doctor. I stated the concern we had with the wait and the nurse asked what we came in for. I explained the reason for our visit and she looked up our name to then say well you have a room to go to so that should help you. It felt very dismissive and as if us asking about our visit was an inconvenience. Once we were placed in a room it was 25 minutes before anyone came in. The Dr came in and was very cold towards our concerns and had a cold unmoved bedside manner. She as well had us feeling that this abnormal occurrence that we came in for was not necessary to bother her with. She also told us that she didn’t understand why they wasted our time with a CT because that’s not helpful for diagnosing why we came in. She also said numerous times that we could go home and that she hoped the problem subsided. As if “hope” is a cure or a fix! There was not one person who we encountered, except who checked us in over 8 hours ago, who had a pleasant demeanor and actually made us feel like they cared about us. The hospital is something to be desired and needs to do a better job when it comes to CARE! It’s also disgusting to see the precious patients urine specimen and lab tubes left in a room that was supposed to be clean and ready for us, a new patient."

"Officially starting a lawsuit, would rate less if I could. My family and I have been having bizarre, bad experiences for years here. Most recently, an emergency visit for my grandfather, where he had a bad infection and was experiencing some confusion, they tied him down to his bed and would not help him, this was after they let him fall out of bed transporting him from a CT scan. They couldn’t find this infection, as the nurse falsely said they tested his urine (that we saw NOBODY took a sample from). The entire emergency staff was rude, and had no idea what was going on. Nobody wanted to be there that was working. My grandpa also has a bad neck injury after this visit. Another hospital had to find these issues and has given us a report on them and how they believe silver cross caused them. Then, my most recent experience, a urologist there refused to speak with me, instead, he literally wrote a condition down on a post it note, and told me to “google it” and walked out. Absolutely disgusting people here. Their social worker april, is an evil, sick person, whose ex sister in law informed me that April was a diagnosed sociopath. Who hires a sociopath to be a social worker? Another instance, my best friends step dad went to the silver cross ER with arm pain, they sent him home with ibuprofen, he suffered a heart attack later that night and died. I will not stop until these people and doctors pay for the harm they have done to myself and others. Do NOT bring your loved ones here"
