"The shopping experience is great shop early you’ll get in and get get out, shop late you’ll have to be patient at times, but they have self check out to mage the transaction speedy, overall a diverse range of products and a chill atmosphere."
"The pharmacists at the 87th and State location are all super helpful, friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable. The lines move fast when there is one."
"This is a great go to place if you live around the area. I understand people had issues, but you don't yell at the workers . Also, if you're not from Illinois you wouldn't know we have bag tax: 7 cents a bag. It's a good place, and they're doing what they can to help everyone."
"i am 47 years old. This is the worst experience I have ever had This is the worst grocery shopping experience I have ever had. I went to the deli, around 3:30 PM. on 3/18/17 and I took a ticket. The woman called #25 and 26, I said I have 26. She started talking to a man at the other end of the counter. She called #26 again. I called out that I had 26. She started talking to the same man. I said I have #26. Asked if she was listening to me. Started to walk towards her end of the counter. She yelled out REALLY LOUD as I moved forward, “He has #24! He has # 24, he has #24!” I grumbled, “Well why are you continually yelling #25 and #26?” The woman that was working with her, slowly took care of the male client before me. Then she threw the food that she was preparing after she weighed it and realized it was more weight than he wanted. She threw the food into the bin. I don’t want to eat food that people are throwing around with anger and disdain, so I walked away. When I got to the cashier he asked me something I did not understand. I assumed he was asking me did I want to donate to a charity like they do in my home town. I realized my groceries were not bagged. Asked the rep why didn’t he put my groceries in a bag. He asked the cashier, Dujuan, did I get a bag. I was confused and shocked. Realized that Dujuan asked did I want a bag. I apologized and said, “I have never experienced anything like this at a Jewels.” Dujaun, who appeared to be the only sane person in the store, apologized and said, “Perhaps I wasn’t clear.” I paid 7 cents for my bag and left. Worst grocery experience in 47 years. Thank God I moved away from Chicago! This is why. Aggression for no reason. I was traveling on the highway. If you live in the community or are traveling, I want you to know that this is all weird. For the price of Jewel’s food I expect a great experience. You will not get it here! I was very frustrated and warn you to not go here unless you appreciate being treated poorly!"
