Motel 6 Merrillville, IN

"I have been trying to reach the c general manager or owner for almost 3 months now to settle a window I didn't mean to break but yet i have not heard back from them out is rather frustrating, other than this incident the room was nice and the staff was nice they just need to update the device that you door your card into in order to unlock the outside door instead of having to walk all the way around the building in the cold to get inside"

"Everything was ok for the price. Had some issues, like the toilet didn't want to flush till it was done running, and the shower had no pressure at all. But the hot water was good. But otherwise a very nice place."

"The room was clean but needed some repairs or replacements. Was quoted one price and charged more. Staff very friendly. Couldn't give wake up call the phone didn't work."

"You get what you pay for.. it was free for the dog which was probably the only benefit. The room door wouldn’t open, you had to slam it open. The room smelled pretty awful.. There was hair in the beds. Blood on the bathroom door.. floors were disgusting. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly though. Decent location. There are plenty of other hotels in the area, maybe spend a little extra elsewhere."

"This was the worst Motel 6 I’ve ever been in. The guy at the front desk was so rude. Then we get to the room and the door is completely stuck, so I had to use my shoulder to shove in every single time. The room smelled like absolute B. O. The shower had a horrible leaking head; the paint was completely coming apart; the plate that hold the shower knob was completely broken; AND there was an old used soap bar. I’m 100% sure the room was never cleaned and the beds were just made up. Avoid this place at all cost."
