"The staff was very polite and helpful with all our needs. Beautiful outdoor seating on the canal. The only problem was the hallway smelled of Skunk weed. It was strong. If I had young children I wouldn’t have been happy about it."
"This place was amazing!!! I loved my room and I love the staff morning and night!!!! I feel safe, secure, and cared for...... I will definitely stay here again in the future and if I can find more in other states that's where I will stay!!!"
"In all the years of travel, my wife has never experienced a room that smelled like sewage when she came back to the room after spending the day at the hospital with me while I had a major surgery. She had to move everything she brought for her extended stay to another room because maintenance couldn't fix the problem. Listen to this, they didn't comp her for the room. I spent a week in the hospital and didn't have the strength to deal with the issue. Certainly not the treatment I would expect from Marriott! The manager should be ....."
"VERY nice location. Great walking—the canal, to the stadium, to downtown. Parking lot has plenty of parking. Indoor pool. Across from the Courtyard which has food service with their Bistro. We stayed just one night which happened to be a football weekend! We would definitely book again."
"It's okay. Rooms were a nice suite size vs a standard hotel. You can actually live here long term for $2000-3000 monthly. The hotel could use some TLC no doubt but for the price and location it was fine. Room service was wonderful, desk staff was nice. Couple random elevator problems I experienced and the rooms needed some help but it's all little stuff. The thermostat was sort of hidden behind the TV which I pictured so that was odd finding my way behind the TV to alter the temp of the room. I also noticed the ceiling near the HVAC vents was covered in black dust. Also pictured. That wasn't pleasant but not life altering. I wouldn't say the hotel is unsafe. Sure it's the city it's dangerous no matter what metropolitan area or state you visit but I had no issues. Parking was odd no tickets come out of the ticket gate it just opens 5 seconds later so literally anyone can come and go. You get your parking slip instead from the front desk."
