"This location needs to be improved. I had a package sent to this location for pickup and it was marked return to sender prior to COB on the last day for pick up, which was 1/2. Why?! In addition, I called today as I spoke with the shipper and they said that UPS claimed today was the last day for pickup. Lisa answered the phone, and seemed to put me on the desk and eventually a few minutes later was hung up on. I called back twice after being hung up on and it went to voice mail. Update: I was able to talk to the Assistant Manager Lisa, not the employee mentioned above, and she was able to work the issue out after discovering the package was still at the facility."
"I went in tonight at 6:28 pm to mail a simple package. There were two employees and another customer in the store. I was told I couldn’t mail my package because UPS had “already picked up for the day” and they wouldn’t do another until Tuesday or Wednesday.. but that I could come back tomorrow. I asked what the difference was if the package still wasn’t going to go out.. after dealing with an overall less than helpful (although honest) employee.. I finally asked “is it because y’all are about to close?”. He answered “yes, ma’am”. So in the time we had this exchange and his unwillingness to help, my package could’ve been taken care of. I understand they were about to close but when I walked up and there was another customer, 2 employees and doors were unlocked, the refusal to assist was an absolute insult. I’ll use another store going forward."
"Shipped packages from this store to place moving to. Delivery was not completed and ups sent packages back to the Madison Alabama store on county line. I asked numerous times for refund got endless excuses. Got to pay double for endless frustration with the service. Not worth your time go elsewhere."
"Update: I received the response to my review as posted below. I immediately reached out to the email address provided offering to speak with them to provide more insights. I have received no response in several days. The day after the store incident I took my package to the Madison Blvd location. They provided excellent and friendly service and were able to use the original label that was “misprinted.” They also got a weird message when trying to scan the replacement label, so I showed them the original that was originally refused. I will be using that location moving forward. —— Original review: You all should be ashamed for employing a young girl, providing her 1-2 weeks training, and then leaving her from 8am til closing to manage the store by herself. Her (rightful) frustration was channeled into abrasive attitude, followed by aggressive and combative behavior when presented with a label she said was misprinted (it was pre-printed from a 3rd party) and a subsequent malfunction in the system when she scanned the replacement bar code I provided. She projected her frustration on me personally and it escalated into a difficult conversation in front of my 8 year old son. I left without successfully delivering a time sensitive package as a result. Once I got home later, I had an email that the the package had been successfully scanned in for delivery in spite of being told “I didn’t want to piss you off, but the computer says this label is not good for drop-off deliveries.” I was refused a shipment confirmation receipt from the attendant, so I now have a package in my possession that has technically been scanned into the UPS system. I intend to reach out directly to customer support to outline the issue encountered because it was a hostile environment. I don’t blame the young girl working the counter for her frustrations, but every request for help finding a solution was met with anger and she found offense in every request for help. Additional training would go a long way to support her growth as an employee. She deserves better. To the employee - if you are reading this- I do not have any desire for you to lose your job and my request for the manager was to address the malfunction and find a solution to deliver my package. It was time sensitive and I needed to pick up my other child before getting locked into parade traffic. This should have been an opportunity to troubleshoot and learn how to respond if it ever happens again. You do need better resources and that is your store owner’s responsibility. I hope your situation improves and you have better days ahead."
