"On 9/3/23, went to a free concert followed by a brief fireworks show. The band was a Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's tribute band by the name Southern Accents. Top notch entertainment! There are rows of chairs near the stage followed by benches. Or, you can bring your own lawn chairs and blankets and sit in the grassy area. Plenty of parking available and several entrances. Bathroom facilities (port-a-potty) and food trucks available. A great evening under the stars!"

"This venue is always the highlight of the week in summer. The music was delightful. Lawn chairs on the hill, shrimp cocktail wine and cheese made for a perfect evening. The best thing is it's always free on Wednesdays! Again Macallister center is awesome!!!! Last blast of summer was incredible!!!!!! Update : 2022 at the Mcallister is going strong!!"
