"I saw Dr Hudson for about 9 years. My previous gyn referred me to him, and I honestly trusted the man with my life. However, nothing “challenging” had come up in my care, so looking back I didn’t have anything to base my trust off. I even recommended him to my mom. In 2018 I had a miscarriage. He was horrible and made me feel terrible about it. He was very condescending. He rushed me into a D and C and then acted like I was crazy when I kept having panic attacks afterwards. I do not have panic attacks—at least I hadn’t until after the D and C. Finally, he listened to my concerns after a lot of effort on my part, and ordered an ultrasound. Low and behold he had not removed the gestation sack, just the fetal pole. The anxiety attacks were my body’s way in telling me that something was wrong. He admitted that he did not have an ultrasound tech present during my procedure. He was just blindly doing the procedure assuming he got everything. I had to have yet another D and C. Not only did I have to go through two procedures emotionally and physically, but I had to pay another $250. When I asked him about whether or not getting a flu shot caused the miscarriage he acted like I was being silly and wasn’t taken me seriously. Of course I won’t ever know what actually caused my miscarriage, but another doctor has since told me that in 2018 there was an increase in miscarriages among women who received the flu vaccine. I’m not blaming my miscarriage on it, but I don’t appreciate my doctor talking to me like it was an impossibility and I was being ridiculous. To make everything worse, my HCG levels weren’t decreasing fast enough for him, and he kept making me come back to the office for blood work. No one looked at my chart, so every single time I had to go back over my miscarriage with the nurses. It was horrible reliving that every time and sitting in a waiting room full of second and third trimesters and grinning mothers holding their first ultrasound while I was having full blown PTSD flashbacks and symptoms. Dr Hudson kept pushing to give me methotrexate. Luckily a friend told me to not take it and to research the medication. At that point I quit going to his office and trusted God to ease my HCG levels naturally. I also started seeing a therapist and psychiatrist until my levels calmed down and I started to feel better. I will never go back to him. He’s a great doctor if nothing ever goes wrong. As soon as something goes wrong his patients suffer due to his arrogance."

He wasn’t on call for the birth of our son and didn’t deliver him, but still cared for me through the pregnancy and checked on me after my son was delivered. He is kind, caring, calm, and provides excellent care to his patients. I’m very thankful we had the opportunity to receive care from him through my pregnancy and will be using him again in the future."
