"Been a while since last visit.I can speak for myself my food was delicious but the other 3 said was par!my andouille sausage and corn and potatoes was delicious.the Cajun fish seem little under spiced and seem par boiled and the Étouffée seem more tomato juice.but all agreed corn potatoes was good.and several items we wanted wasn’t available and the staff didn’t know that!but service was awesome!lacking on good alcohol choices but we are craft beer drinkers so understand all are not.the desert we settled for was good but not what we wanted!again out of what we wanted.could be late in season and a big festival going on in nearby city.prices still reasonable clean and cozy restaurant."
"Food was bland. Couldn't cook my stake right both times they tried. When I ordered a bloody mary it had no flavor and tasted like tomato juice. Then when I said something about it they waitress was rude."
"So we have been going to Meo Mio’s for several years and the first few years were very good even great actually but now it has taken a turn very good to average. The owners are no longer interested in the restaurant any longer and it shows. It’s a great location and it was talked about by the locals and how good it was, now they are only open two days Friday and Saturday 4:30 to 8:30 ish on the paper sign on the front door. The outside porch lights are off so it has very little curb appeal, the inside is dated including the much needed to be remodeled bathrooms that had no paper towels and the faucets were missing the diffusers so water is going everywhere. This is such a great place but it won’t last long like this. It is for sale but at a million bucks fat chance that will ever happen. It’s in need of so many updates and the employees are not happy working there which is not good for the long term outlook, but hopefully it will survive and get back on track to what it once was."
"We have eaten here several times. In the past it’s been very good. Last night we ordered Cajun catfish to go. It definitely was not a 23 dollar meal. 2 small pieces of fish 3 small pieces of potato a 2 inch pieces of corn small container of beans and slaw. No bread no tartar sauce no ketchup nothing no even a fork or napkin was given. Very disappointed in this to go order. Won’t make that mistake again"
"Brook our server was amazing and so friendly. Made the perfect recommendation for me. Best meal I have had while visiting Tennessee. Very clean and wonderful service. I had the kiss my shrimp and grits and lived it"
