Zelda Pointe Apartments

"Zelda pointe has older units with structural and buildilbg issues that they will not fix. Be very careful when inspecting your unit. There are plumbing issues and they will turn your water off for hours. The office staff does try to give you significant notice when they can. The property manager does her best to keep you in the loop and keep the community engaged. She is pleasant and the issues are more corporate and owner issues with lack of consistent upkeep."

"Erica Davis and Ieisha Curry are the Dream Team of apartment management. // 1. Fast. From finding the listing online to move-in was under 10 days. Would have been faster but there was a holiday in the middle. Ms. Davis was responsive to phone calls, emails and texts. Documents could be submitted electronically. Instructions were clear and complete. Ms Curry had less than a week on the job, but seemed already fully capable of managing the non-stop pace. // 2. Reliable. When I moved in, Mr. Davis was up front that she was in the process of hiring maintenance staff. During move-in, I observed litter accumulating on the grounds and leaves and branches strewn on steps and walkways. It was mid-month. I was patient. Ms. Davis had set expectations appropriately. By early the next month, an email was sent to all tenants advising of litter guidelines. Around that time I observed staff on utility carts picking up trash. Further, within hours of a rain event bringing down large amounts of leaves and branches, the walkways were now clear of debris and slip hazards. I have a keen eye for litter and have been hard-pressed to find any around my entrance since the maintenance staff has started. It’s really quite lovely! Now the grounds look as appealing as the lovely tall trees and shrubs. // 3. Tech savvy. The Resident Portal allows me to manage my apartment the way I manage the rest of my life: online. I can set up AutoPay and make maintenance requests at any time of day. // If you looked at this location before April 2023 and were turned off by poor management, I recommend you give Zelda Pointe a second look. The renovated units are just right for the price and location and the Management Dream Team are ready and waiting to help you find your new apartment home."

"This place was in really poor shape during my 8 month stay. Rude and unprofessional management was the biggest issue, but they were fired a month before I left. The new manager Erica made the leaving process extremely easy and pleasant. She is very sweet and always has a smile on her face! Before she got here, I was going to leave a 1 star review. I can’t give a 5 star review just for the sake of what I had to go through living here, but I just wanted to acknowledge how amazing Erica was!!"
