General updates and announcements are clearly communicated. Grounds are clean and well maintained. Of the little unit maintenance that’s been needed, it’s been completed quickly and professionally. "If you want to me racially profiled this is the place for you! I applied got approved & paid fees of $560. Then was told to provide proof of income then was told to prove the income that was listed once that was proven I was then told that my income was not proven properly and was denied even though I got approved! Not only that they added an additional deposit fee of $1222 that she rushed me to pay! The property manager is extremely rude and obnoxious! She over talked me the entire time and was extremely rude! I do not recommend this place!"

"I moved into Parkside Apartments in 2018, so I've been here for 5 years. Overall, it's a nice place to live with nice amenities in a great neighborhood, but it is not without its faults. Six different times I have been woken from a deep sleep by a fire alarm going off, and every single time the alarm has gone off it has been a false alarm. Then I receive an email from management with a "deep apology" yet it keeps happening. Do you have any idea what it is like to be woken from REM sleep in the middle of the night to an alarm loud enough to wake the dead only to find out it's another false alarm? What is going to happen when a real fire breaks out? I have observed my fellow residents not take the alarm seriously as they slowly make their way outside only to discover that the alarm is for nothing yet again. Every time we have a false alarm, there is a new excuse, and there is no reason to think it won't keep happening again and again. I was woken in the middle of the night last night and then again early this morning. The alarm went off for an hour before management could turn it off. The firefighters showed up and had to call management to get the password to turn off the alarm, yet it still took an hour to turn it off. I have large ear muffs to just drown out the sound when this happens, yet I can still hear the alarm through the ear muffs, which only makes the sound barely tolerable. This would be a great place to live except for all the times I have been woken up to panic and extremely loud noise only to discover that it's yet another false alarm."

"Does Parkside tell you if Autopay is turned off? Or call to let you know you did not pay by the 3rd? No, they charge you 150 dollar late fee. Zero emails, zero calls, zero texts. I've lived here a year, the stairwells smell of pee because they will not clean them, and they will not bring you up the one by the coffee shop. Overpriced and underdelivered, they up charged me over 300 a month for another year least too, I wanted out but that is what did it."

"I lived here for 3+ years now. Location and floorplans are nice, but management has recently allowed the building to go downhill. It used to be a joy living here, but the 3rd floor especially is a mess. Floors are constantly dirty and the stairwells have smelled of dog pee for months. Many residents, including myself, have complained about this and management does nothing but provide excuses that they need to "catch" the person who is doing it before they take action, yet they have not installed any cameras. If you can afford this price range, I highly recommend you move somewhere else nearby."
