"Had the rudest interaction with one of the leasing managers today, had the nastiest attitude and had a smart comment to say when I first answered the phone due to a misunderstanding of tour time. Put such a bad taste in my mouth I wouldn’t even want to tour there let alone live there. I wouldn’t recommend living here until there is new management/ leasing agents."

"Eh. The apartments are beautiful. But I’ve lived here for TWO months and since then I still don’t have a trash can?? But I pay $30/month for trash service. That’s $60 down the drain! I love hanging my trash bag up in the kitchen. The gate to the parking lot has also been messed up for the whole time. Sometimes it works, sometimes not! It’s really fun when you’re getting home late at night and have to park on the street and walk a block into your expensive apartment. Without the normal amenities (pool, fitness center, etc) you would think the parking is top tier. I’m completely disappointed, and Axel Row - do not tell me to message or call you. You can respond right here."

"Since I have moved to this apartment in July, I have been met with nothing but problems. I have maggots enter my apartment on several occasions due to improper and inconsistent trash pick up. The trail of maggots entered my apartment from the overfilled trash can in the common outdoor area and from other residents whose trash was sitting outside and not being picked up by the valet trash service for days. My apartment has been filled with the smell of weed traveling through the vents from my neighbor's apartment. The infrastructure of the building is horrible, I can hear everything that goes on in the apartment above me and next door to me. The gate to the parking lot has been broken for months now and there has been no urgency on behalf of the management to fix it. This has lead to reserved parking spots for residents being used by other people, and most recently, mine, along with several other residents, cars being broken into. The former assistant community manager, Cole, was helpful in tending to some of these issue but the community manager Sarah has taken no accountability for the poor management of this property. When I spoke to her about the gate being broken for an extended period of time, she deflected and took no responsibility for not having it fixed by now. She also mentioned that even if the gate were working properly, someone could still come in through the back gate and break into out cars regardless. This shows the lack of security and safety of this complex and how management has no intention of making this a safe space for residents. They are only worried about keeping up appearances enough to take our money for these over-charged apartments. Also, most of the recent five star reviews were collected as part of a Christmas incentive program the apartment offered, so I would not believe what most of the reviews say. UPDATE: There were several car break-ins that occurred again in April, my car was one of them unfortunately. This time the break-ins took place at both Axel Row sites. The security at this complex is extremely compromised. There are even residents subleasing their apartments on Airbnb which is giving even more random people access to the community. This apartment is far from safe."

"I rented an apartment at Axel Row for my daughter in the summer of 2022. One week later the AC unit broke down and we followed the procedures to place a maintenance call. After many promises from management, they replied 2 weeks later that that the problem cannot be fixed because apartment was still under contract with the builder. conversations with management office went no where after one of the boys there used obscene language with my wife. The portable AC unit they provided were very noisy and inefficient to cool the heat of Alabama in the summer. After a while month have passed. The AC UNIT was still non functional and we vacated the apartment. Management promised to return last month rent and then stopped answering calls or messages. I read a review posted about the broken gate, maggots crawling because they were late collecting trash, poor structures, lack of privacy, elevator down for long periods of of time, All is true. I hesitated posting my review, however I felt obligated to share my experience, especially after I read other bad experiences feom others."

"I love Axel Row! It has beautiful amenities and is always kept very clean. The parking lot is gated and there's plenty of street parking for guests. I love the location of the property, it is a quick walk away from Avondale Brewery and other restaurants. The community manager, Cole, is amazing! He is super helpful and made the moving in process a breeze. Would 100% recommend living here :)"
