"So, I lived at the Hacen Apts for six years in an two bedroom apartment and been well pleased, for the most part. I decided to move to a three bedroom apartment because I simply needed the added space/ storage. Needless to say that my pleasing experience changed when I moved to a three bedroom apartment on the the same property. Several issues were wrong with the apartment. Apparently, the previous tenants lived with sub-standard conditions. One main issues is the hall bathroom was atrocious and just plain unsightly. The sink leaked the toilet half flushed( never seen that before) and the bathtub faucet/ stopper looked a fright and the caulking job looked a absolute mess. Thanks maintenance ( Casey) for replacing my sink, fixing the toilet, replacing the bathtub faucet/ stopper and most importantly the caulking job is clean and well done! You made this lady smile when I go in my hall bathroom now."
"Ill start my review by saying I would have given a 3/4 star if it was not for management. Long story short. They revolve managers way too much and will play with your money if you let them. Read till the end. I stayed at the Haven 2020-2022 and I actually enjoyed the apartment homes. I felt safe while living there, it was particularly quiet, neighbors were nice, and pet friendly. The homes are spacious enough for an apartment complex. I loved the garage, but did not love paying $100 a month for it. The trash man the drives around with his wife in the pick-up truck is super nice and will take boxes if you catch him in route. The playground was Ok, but was a good pass time for the little ones. We did have a roach problem arise about 2 months into living there. We would seldomly see them on the walls and they started to show more. My wife was fed up and wanted to moved. The apartments pest control didnt work. So we looked up some youtube videos and landed on using Bengal to kill them and used a little caulk to fill any openings around the floor board. When I moved the refrigerator we found the infestation and killed about 50 roaches. Roach problem gone. I would say 4 star for overall experience and 3 star because of the roach problem. Now lets get to why they are a 1 star for me. First off they rotate managers too much. As soon as a manager gets everything down pact it seems like another one is rolled in. Dont get me wrong they managers seem like good people, but they all have their flaws. The first manager lied to use saying that the carpet in our new apartment was new. After walking on the "new carpet" for 5 minutes we had all kind of dog hair stuck in our socks. They wouldnt replace is but got someone to do carpet cleaning. It didnt fix the problem but we could deal with that. (Youll see im pretty leniate). The next manager lost one of my money orders and acted like I did not pay my rent for the month. When I gave it to her in her hand. Had to fight that for a while but got it fixed. The money order was never found btw. They switched managers again and I guess they lost track of who had garages, so it wasnt being billed. They turned and bulk billed like 3 months of garage fees at one time. Once we decide to move out we let them know months in advance and cleaned the apartment to a T. Was wondering why I havent received my refund check months later. Well come to find out they lost yet another money order and tried to take it out my refund. They never found the money order although I had my receipts, so I had to get that money order stopped and let them take it out of my deposit. So I then fight for months to get my actual check that they sent to the wrong house and acted dumb about. I get the check finally just for it to bounce a week after cashing! I call back to let them know, AND IT IS A NEW MANAGER. Now this manager hasnt done anything but tell me she sent an email to corporate. I havent got a phone call, a check or nothing. Its almost a year and I still have not gotten a legit deposit refund from them. And the corporate office is worse cause they wont answer the phone. Long story short. They revolve managers way too much and will play with your money if you let them. I need my money!!!"
"I would give 0 stars If I could. Honestly don’t bother living here, if you’re willing to pay 1,200 for rent go live in a nicer apartment complex. The communication between office and resident staff is horrible, we had several pest/vermin issues while living here and maintenance problems. They do a horrible job at keeping up with their records. We’re due a return on security deposit but I get the run around every-time I call up there. We did our due diligence as residents when moving out and it’s taking 3+ months to get a refund. Tuhh don’t bother living here."
