"Forest Hills Village is a great place to live. And anyone in the comments saying it's not its probably because you were evicted Brokiee when it's based off income"
"The most disgusting place I’ve ever lived. Management is terrible, almost as bad as the rat and mice infestation. You can literally smell the urine from the pests. So disgusting. I ended up abandoning the apartment only to be harassed by management months later because I didn’t renew my lease. There’s no way the market rate rent should be $1251 for a 3 bedroom 1 bath, amenities from 1975. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone especially with young children. Found rat droppings in my daughter’s bed. Not to mention the retaliation from management after reporting the infestation to HUD."
"The property manager Denzel is very unprofessional and steals out of the units. The units are basically condemned and mice infested. Maintenance isn’t helpful. The company will not assist you in any manner. You basically better on the street or shelter than here. Its loud and over crowded. Also, this isn’t a kid friendly environment"
"I have unfortunately lived in this complex since childhood and finally moved away due to going to college, thank God. My elderly parents still live here because they are extremely poor, disabled, and unable to move and I am unable to have them live with me. I want to know how to report this apartment as unsafe and uninhabitable. There is a massive roach and mice infestation, they don't paint, or refurbish these apartments and honestly this place is a slum and trap for crime and poverty. I wish the city would do something to close this place down once and for all. Its been hell living here and the place has gotten worse by the year. This complex changes management A LOT and Alabama has weak tenant protections. There is only one entrance and one exit to this place which makes it unsafe for people to evacuate. The living room ceiling has collapsed on one occasion, the apartment floods, plumping problems galore, the bathroom ceiling has also collapsed. I don't feel like uploading pictures but this is heartbreaking to see my family live through."
"Forrest hills isn't a place you would want to stay for years. The apartment would be nice if I had doors to my bedrooms. If the A/C units actually had plugs to them. If the cleaning crew actually cleaned the place. Plumbing wasn't old and broken. If I had shelves in my cabinets and mold was/is the main resident. There's fights almost every night and shootings that last weeks! Get a good rain and your building will flood. Maintenance is nonexistent and communication from the office is invisible.i wouldn't suggest this place to a dying dog."
