Longboard Beach House

"This is the place! Literally the best AirBNB experience ever. Those house is everything, the host is absolutely wonderful, and the location cannot be beat! I found this while searching for a vacation house near water. I took pictures of the house after we had taken off the linens to clean when we were checking out. But hopefully they give you even more insight on how great this house is. First off, the pictures don't even come close to giving you everything you will experience. We felt like we were on a paradise island alone. This house has so much beachfront and this house has no other houses as close asall other houses on the island. It is located at the furthest west end of the island before it becomes completely secluded. We had 2 parking spots and room for the golf cart my kids rented. The house is modern, clean, and loaded! 3 levels of decking gives many different views of the ocean, sunsets, and sunrises. The decks were large and had sturdy chairs that offer plenty of seating to enjoy relaxing. The bottom deck wraps around to the sides of the house with easy step down into the soft white sands. There is also a shower on this deck and plenty of shaded deck area that we used for our water toys, sandals, coolers, etc. The 2nd deck brings you to the entrance of the house and an amazing, super close view of the water. There was a propane grill, chairs, and a large picnic table located here. We left our shoes on this deck to try to limit sand being brought into the house. The excitement of seeing where we'd be staying during our 1st visit to the ocean, Alabama, and Dauphin Island was maxed upon entering the gorgeous house. The kitchen is so cute and has absolutely everything you need to cook any meals. We cooked all meals and had plenty of room to eat together at the table or outside on the picnic table. Plenty of cabinets filled with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There was also drawers that were empty and gave plenty of room for our groceries. We used a hospitality service that delivered and put groceries away prior to our arrival. Tons of counter space and the large table was great for our family of 6. The living room had a very large TV with plenty comfortable seating to enjoy our view out the windows that cover the house facing the ocean. There were baskets of beach towels for us to use. This house has windows everywhere, yet leaves plenty of privacy if wanted, but the view out these windows was amazing. There are two full restrooms on the level, one located in the king size master bedroom, with a full tub.....and the other right off the kitchen area. The master bedroom on the main floor is perfect, large TV, closet, end tables, and a private restroom. Going upstairs from the living room, you immediately walk into an open area room that has 4 beds built into the walls, similar to bunk beds, a HUGE TV, and a desk area around the one corner. There was also a closet full of games. More windows too! Turning down the hall are 3 more bedrooms. The first two bedrooms were rather large with queen size beds, closets, TVs and the middle bedroom also has access to the upstairs restroom which also has a door from the hallway. In the hall is the door that goes out to the upper deck with a very nice hot tub and more seating. This deck is where I spent my final evening looking at the stars while listening to the waves hitting the shore. Being that this is on an island and on the far end, there are no street lights etc, so the view of the stars is unmatched!!! The final bedroom is another master with kind bed identical to the room below. The bathroom is smaller in this bedroom, but still has everything you need to shower and use restroom. You can pretty much watch the sunrise while laying in bed. It's gorgeous. The house has plenty blankets and pillows, the beds were comfortable and clean, plenty of places to put your things away, and TV in each room if the house.
