"Location is beautiful, but looks like most of the place is up for sale. Main house locked to tight, no lights on, and looks in need of outside repairs. Overlook area behind main house has a great view."

"When we drove into the Gorham Bluff Resort, we thought we were in Paradise. The staff was incredible, devoted to making us feel special. Our room, like all others, had a balcony with a table and chairs so we could sit and drink our coffee and take in the views. Our room was so romantic, the staff actually had the fireplace going for us when we arrived. The pillows, mattresses and even the robes were sumptuous. In the hall coffee and tea were available for guests, a mini kitchen for guest was on the first floor filled with cokes water, chilled candy bars, etc for us. There is a beautiful new pool area, a vintage post office converted to a library for guest to use and a hiking trail along the bluff! Photo shoots are numerous. A Pavilion overlooks the cliffs, perfect for a renewal of your vows. Some building improvements were going on but I have to say we didn’t notice - it was so quite and peaceful."

"Poorly maintained over time and desperately needs refurbished. Lodge/restaurant building is in poor shape w damaged wood, missing paint and general disrepair. The bluff view is fantastic but even the decks overlooking it are ready for replacement. Google photos show the best of it many years ago. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it."

"We wish that we could give you guys 1000+ stars. To say that this hidden gem is outstanding doesn't do it justice. We decided to take a spontaneous trip and my husband found this place. I loved the pictures, they reminded me of a farmhouse. And within minutes of booking, Ms. Dawn called and asked if Chef Dekota could prepare our dinner for us. I have never had anyone do this. From the moment we got there, they were nothing short of amazing. The Roden room was clean, homey, spacious, and very comfortable. Dinner was awesome. I personally have never experienced such wonderful customer service as we did here. And we have stayed at a lot of places. We will be returning... soon hopefully. I loved the peaceful tranquility, no noise, no phones going off, a beautiful view. It's worth the drive and the money. Thank you again for making our unofficial anniversary weekend special."

"Absolutely perfect retreat. So beautiful. The Lodge overlooks a gorgeous bluff. Views are incredible in every direction. Our room was amazing and so pretty. The bed was super comfortable. The cottages are adorable that dot the landscape before you arrive at the lodge. We ate every meal here and they were FABULOUS. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were beyond delicious. Even the box lunch was super yummy with fried chicken tenders, potato salad, and a pasta salad. All of this with the chef’s unique twist to every menu item. Nothing was as expected and far surpassed expectations. I highly recommend Gorham’s Bluff for a little getaway and some relaxation time."
