"This review is for the business office. I thought my insurance was changing so I did not run the visit for my son through insurance and instead paid $400 cash. Once I determined the correct number I have been trying since 12/26/2023 to get them to run it through my insurance and get a refund but I keep getting the same person 3 times who at first told me it should not take this long and now they say they already have it in the queue so just wait in an annoyed tone."

"This is my second experience with Dr. Kirchner. the first was in 2021, when I broke my right foot. It was a long healing, but eventually after wearing a splint for several months and then a boot for several months, I was finally able to put weight on my foot and it finally healed and was back to normal. In the past few months I developed significant pain in my right arch and finally had Dr. Kirchner take a look at it. He decided the arch needed surgery to be corrected and I am now in my 6th week of having a cast on. If it looks good, by mid-January, I will be in a boot, but still without weight bearing. During my first and second go round with Surgery by Dr. Kirchner, I was very pleased with his manner, professionalism and efficiency in his care of my foot. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his help in foot problems."
"The billing team is absolutely horrible! Even though we have insurance we were required to pay up front. We were told they weren’t “sure what insurance would cover” our last visit was at the end of July 2023 and as of December 18th I still have no answers on getting a refund. My insurance company has paid the bills and Southlake acknowledges that I have a 775.00 credit in their system but they say they’re waiting on my insurance company to pay one final bill before my money can be refunded. My insurance company has no open invoices from them. Please be aware and use someone else unless you can just afford to self pay with them. Every time I call the billing department I get a different excuse as to why I can’t be refunded."
