"I am very pleased with the treatment I received with Dr. K and his staff. I went to a doctor at UAB for years who only monitored my thyroid nodule never doing any follow up diagnostics to measure the size of my nodule. When I started losing weight my primary care doctor did labwork and told me I was hyperthyroid and I needed to goto my endocrinologist immediately. Went back to uab and my endo made me do 2 sets of labs and still did not suggest any meds or treeatment.I went to Dr. K who showed immediate concern, reviewed my thyroid scans ordered not by my uab endo but my primary care physician. He immediately placed me on meds and referred me to a surgeon. Now I'm feeling better and no longer losing weight and preparing for my surgery. No doctor is perfect but at least he cared enough to take me seriously. I am truly grateful to him and his staff."

"I see Dr. Karassi for diabetes and Graves’ Disease. I will be finding a new doctor. I am sick with 102 fever, and his office charged me $40 for an office visit even when I called yesterday morning about my sickness and fever. I could understand if I were a no-show, but that was not the case. I have had the aforementioned medical issues for 20 years, and this has never once happened at another practice. The office manager was extremely rude and said that I have canceled appointments before, but the appointment in question was one the doctor canceled himself last minute not me and for this appt I can’t help being sick. Any other appointments I rescheduled. No doctor wants to see anyone with a fever these days, so sickness was beyond my control. Again, Dr. Karassi himself has canceled on me several times, so I am appalled by charging me for an appointment I could not help missing and one that I called about first thing in the morning. Furthermore, I have to remind Dr. Karassi to care about my thyroid since he only focuses on my diabetes. I loved Ashley, the PA who left, and Chloe, one of the nurses. I’m a teacher, and afternoon appointments are difficult to get. Nonetheless, I would’ve rescheduled once I felt better. I am not capricious about my health and will be going to a practice who feels the same."

"I see Dr Karassi for Diabetes. Paperwork is very difficult in the industry and the office does a great job of doing the legwork. I go 4 times a year and I see Dr Karassi 1-2 times and his nurse practioners the rest. I feel the quality of care is good, i definitely feel Dr Karassi cares very much for his patients."

"Dr. Karassi and his staff are by far the best, most caring, most helpful angels that God blessed me with Wednesday 02-03-2021. I had blood work done by my general practitioner the Tuesday the week prior and been to the ER that Monday and Tuesday wanting to just die. Both ERs told me all my blood work, CT scans, EKGs and everything looked good and all that was left was my thyroid and hormones and they don’t deal with that so I would have to see my GP or an endocrinologist. My GP couldn’t even call me with my blood work results even after I told them what was going on so I googled endocrinologist near me not expecting the miracle I received. Dr. Karassi is who I found! Ms. Brooke, I hope to meet, answered my call and told me they have to have my records and all first but could hear the pain in my voice and got me in in under 3 hours. They were not at their alabaster office but luckily my daughter drove me to Princeton to see him. They showed my daughter and I nothing but care, compassion, and love like they had known me forever. He gave me medicine to help my symptoms, set me up for my uptake test the next two days and I should be receiving my results and a game plan Monday or Tuesday! If you need an endocrinologist I personally think Dr. Karassi is truly the greatest!"
