"Horrible experience at bellamy. The staff at bellamy is very unprofessional and unorganized. Before move in date, I never received information about roommates or anything. Once I moved in, I was placed in the wrong room, the room that I received was disgusting. It was super dirty, lots of dog fur. The keys that i recieved didn’t work for my room and my information was never put into the keypad so I was locked out of bellamy a couple of times. I talked to the stuff about it and nothing was ever done. Was told I would receive a gift card as an apology and never received that either. I personally, don’t recommend living at bellamy."

"When we looked at the property, the pool and gated property were the biggest advantages we considered. My daughter lived there two years. I could count on my fingers the number of times the gates were actually closed. People drove in and out through open gates. They had filtration issues with the pool which resulted in it being closed most of both summers that she was there. Upon move out, we received an invoice for the couch. The vinyl (cheaply made) had just come off. No damage other than that. After calling, they did agree that the couch was just normal wear and tear and took the couch off the invoice. Very thin walls which made for some sleepless nights. On a positive note, all repair issues were dealt with promptly. Employees were always friendly and helpful."

"Bellamy seems like the perfect place to live but it has so many problems. First everything was great when I moved in and thought I was going to have a good year here. Then I started having issues with my roommates smoking weed and then one of their friends dying in our apartment. When I brought the smoking to managements attention they sent a letter warning our apartment of the violation and fee which we would ALL be charged if it kept happening. I don't understand why I would have to pay that fee when I am the one that complained about the smoking. At that point it seems like the warning is to keep you from complaining again because I wouldn't want to pay that fee. Next, I was given very little information about the person that died other than the police didn't suspect foul play. I was never given any other information and I felt uncomfortable living there after that, especially since I didn't know my roommates at all. When I spoke to someone from management about how I felt, they expressed no sympathy and as stated in the lease, you cannot get out of your lease unless the person wanting to get out personally advertises their room for rent online like Facebook marketplace, which also means it might never get approved either. Even if I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in that apartment, they were not going to let me leave. So I stuck it out. I moved out a week before my roommates did and the kitchen was absolutely disgusting and when I turned in my keys to the clubhouse and told someone that they hadn't left yet and if they don't clean it fully, its not from me. I was told that since the kitchen is a "shared space", I would also be fined the cleaning fee for a mess that isn't mine... Then a couple weeks after I moved out, I noticed a fee in my account for "no front door key returned/key doesn't fit lock" which I knew was impossible because I literally used the key to lock the front door and immediately turned it in to the office. When I called the office and spoke to someone they kind of just laughed it off and said "I don't know what to tell you". I asked if a manager was available for me to speak to and they told me to call back the next day. So I tried calling the next day when they said the manager would be there. I called 4 times and no one answered the phone so I looked up their hours on google and it said they should be open 9am - 6pm which I found out later is incorrect. When someone finally answered it was after 4 pm and it was the same person I talked to the day before. No manager was there and the person said they were actually closed because it was after 4pm and she doesn't know why she picked up the phone. Again, she told me to call Monday at 10 am. I called Monday at 10 am and still no manager because the person I talked to said she wasn't authorized to override the fee but she could request to have it removed from my account and it would take 2-3 days. No apology or any explanation to why the fee was added to my account. When I checked my account later that same day, the fee was gone. It makes me wonder why it was added in the first place when they removed it so fast, no question or explanation. Did they try the key again and it miraculously worked or do they just charge residents for no reason and hope they pay it? This place is so unorganized and unprofessional. I am glad to be done here."

"Hope and Josh work at the clubhouse at Bellamy and they are so much help. Hope helped me renew my lease over the phone. There are several other workers at Bellamy that are super nice and helpful, I just don’t know all of their names."
