"Love the doctors and the nurses! However, the reception staff, in office and even when making appointments over the phone, are rude. They also don’t make you feel welcomed at all. Other than the front desk staff, I would say everything else is definitely 5 stars!"

"I have been incredibly unhappy with the reception staff at Cahaba Medical Care - Alabaster since I have been here at its inception. To start off with, there seems to be little/no communication between the physician and front office staff in terms of when to schedule appointments, follow-ups, etc. It felt like pulling teeth when I wanted to schedule an appointment with my PCP in person for one day then a tele-health appointment with a different provider on a different day. This AFTER I was told that I could see two providers in one day in one slot by the PCP and reception staff at scheduling. I even sent a message in the portal a little later on to confirm. I get to my appointment today and was only able to see my PCP. The other provider was "booked up." Don't even get me started on the other issues I've had with the office staff. This is just the straw that broke the camel's back. To say I'm absolutely livid is an understatement. I did not think I'd be using today to find a different provider, but here we are. It really pains me to do this because I followed my girls' pediatrician since birth and I'll really miss her and her staff. Please listen to your patients. You might be surprised at what you find out."
