"Unsafe for patients and noncommunicative. There was bad weather the morning of my appointment with Dr. Fijabi, but UAB called 4 times to tell me that the appointment was still on the day before, and I called on the way to the appt to confirm that the clinic was open, which they said it was. I arrived for my appt and there was no one there, I called again, and the person on the phone said they had been told at 7 that morning that the clinic was open, but they messaged the clinic and were told that actually the clinic was closed, and that the next available appointment isn’t for another 8 months. It’s unacceptable to tell me five times that the appointment is happening (including the morning of), make a patient drive through icy roads to get there, and then get there and say that it’s actually closed. If staff knew not to come into the clinic that morning, they need to tell patients not to come. Unsafe for patients and unprofessional."

"I use Dr. Erin DeLaney at the UAB Family Medicine clinic, and she is fantastic! She has the absolute best bedside manner of any doctor that I have ever been to. Getting an appointment is easy. I call the phone number, an operator transfers me to a scheduling clerk, and it is set. I have never had a problem. The front desk staff is very professional, and usually have me going back to see Dr. DeLaney in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend UAB Family Medicine to anyone looking for a primary care physician. There are several to choose from."

"Quickly got an appointment with a new doctor here. Waiting area is very nice and so are the receptionists! Didn't wait long at all to have the nurse take me back, nor long to see the doctor. Dr. Perry spent an adequate amount of time with me and was thorough. Will definitely continue to come here for appointments!"
