"I am from out of state and I needed a new catalvtic converter for my truck. I am from Texas, and cars are required to pass an emissions inspection in order to be registered and when I got the work done, I was told that the car would pass inspection just fine, about six months later I drove home from Purdue where I go to school and my car did not pass inspection and it cost over $200 to get the problem fixed. The welding was not done correctly and so exhaust was leaking out of the catalytic converter. I contacted the shop asking for a partial refund since they lied and the work was not done correctly. Their response was "no way". That's exactly how he said it. I would not recommend this shop at all because even if you don't half to have your car passing emissions standards like that it is evident that they are not doing quality work here."
