"I had one of the worst experiences here the other day. I went in to get color, highlights, and a cut for $160. Instead I left with destroyed hair that they up-charged me for. My hairdresser didn’t explain anything while she was doing it. After the first round of highlights I could see no difference in my hair. When I asked her to try again not only did she charge me for it but she destroyed my hair. She started grabbing chunks and putting bleach on them however she wanted. As a result I have random chunks of orange hair all around my head. When it came to charging me they definitely scammed me. Instead of charging me for what I came in for (color, highlight, and cut) they charged me for a “color and highlight”, “haircut, dry, and style (long hair)”, and “additional color”. I uploaded a picture for reference but as you can see I do not have long hair and my hair was not styled. And the additional color I got charged for was the hairdresser charging ME for not doing my highlights right the first time. Now I have paid over $200 for hair that makes me feel ugly and self conscious! Update: there are also strands of green in my hair as well."

"I went in to the salon for the first time today. It was super conveniently located and easy to get to. I had a great experience with Emily who did my cut and color. My hair is absolutely adorable; I love it! Regarding my color, Emily consulted with me about what my options were for what I was looking for and made some great recommendations based off of some pictures I showed her. She seemed knowledgeable about what she was doing and was able to answer all my questions. She even took into account the way it would fade/change with the summer sun and how it would look as my roots grew out. During this consultation, she made the choice based on the color brand to wash and cut my hair before coloring it to save me some money, since I would be removing some of the hair that would have been dyed otherwise. For the haircut, Emily was more than happy to make any changes while she was cutting, like adding more layers or trimming my bangs when I asked. There were even some instances when she noticed something that would improve the outcome: blending my bangs into the rest of my hair and styling them as waterfall bangs, thinning some parts of my hair that were thicker than others, to name a few. When styling it, she asked if it would be ok to curl it— I appreciated having a say in the way my hair was styled— and it turned out absolutely adorable."
