"I woke up with sperm on my face and immediately call 911. Come to find out I just had a Wet dream. I sued the hotel for pain and suffering."

"Mr. Tommie was so nice and helpful. Josh on the other hand needs to check his snarky attitude. When my fiancee had a question about the bill, Josh immediately got an attitude then refused to renew our stay once we said we would file a complaint. He didn't like it when the same energy he was giving was put back on him. Just a FYI Josh, most of your coworkers don't like you lol. I can see why. That's probably why you are a floating GM and don't have your own location. No one can stand to be around you that long. I know the corporation will defend him but I don't care. Treat people the way you want to be treated or they may just treat you how you treat them. Side note: The rooms look nothing like the ones on the website. They are renovating some of them bug I'm sure the price will go up on those. Rooms weren't the worst but not the best either."

"The staff was great! Unfortunately, I had a terrible infestation. I literally couldn't turn the lights off there were so many roaches. Unfortunately, I was extremely ill and weak, traveler's diarrhea, nausea, couldn't eat without diarrhea and couldn't move. So, I didn't complain bc of that. It was a terrible demoralizing experience. I had to put cotton in my ears. The roaches were crawling all over me on the bed. I never will patronize this particular location again. I will never forget the experience. I was actually traumatized by my experience. I was ill and wasn't even given the starter roll of toilet paper. Thankfully, I had some that I keep in the car when I travel. That didn't help though when I first got in the room and didn't know. Avoid this place if you can."

"I was having some work done to my house and had to move out for a week and my wife booked me a room at the intown in Homewood and I must say that it was one of the most unexpected experiences I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. First the front desk staff was very rude, the rooms weren’t clean the hardwood floor and the carpet in the rooms are disgusting, roaches crawling all over the place when I asked about a refund after seeing the room and how filthy it was the front desk clerk stated sorry but no refunds, we don’t provide tissue, soap, or any other toiletries, housekeeping comes through once a week. I was so furious and disappointed in the entire situation and I was running late to work because after I paid she left and said she had to go clean the room but apparently she didn’t do much cleaning it was disgusting"

"It was an adequate stay overall; I needed a temporary place to stay while finding a more permanent place in Birmingham. While I didn't have the pleasure of Vanessa's exceptional hospitality for most of my stay, the night I checked in was all it took to prove that the previous reviews of her world-class service were true. Due to a misunderstanding in InTown Suites' policy for check-in, I, along with another guest, ended up missing the check-in deadline, which meant the reservation would automatically cancel. Normally at that point, most places would say that you're out of luck and there is nothing that could be done, but Vanessa worked some last-minute magic to not only honor the reservation but find me a better room for my 2.5 weeks of stay! She went out of her way to help both the other guest and me, staying late to make sure we had what we needed. Of course, I caught her on her last day before she ended up going on a much-deserved vacation, so again I wasn't able to see her top-notch efforts on a daily basis that have other guests giving this place raving reviews. While she was out though, I didn't receive weekly housekeeping services, which balances out the overall service rating. If Vanessa was here the majority of my stay, I know the service would have been five stars! InTown Suites Homewood is cost-effective and the location is convenient, right next to shops, stores, and the highway for easy travel access. I would consider staying here again if I was in a situation that required temporary housing."
