"Although the decor is dated, I used to enjoy the total experience. The people are nice and they do a decent job. I fell out of favor when I was charged because they FILED my nails down. My nails are and have always been the shortest that they can be without cutting into my skin. Nail filing, not filling should be a standard expectation in getting your nails done. I would always tip $5, so it was an insult to charge me for nail filing on the shortest nails in the salon. They lost a loyal customer."

"I have been coming to Leo for years now and lately their service has been becoming increasingly disappointing. I have refrained from leaving a bad review in the hope that maybe I just had a bad experience or two, and that it will get better, but just the opposite has happened. Not only have they been abusing my generosity and charging me different prices every time for subpar services, but they have also been extremely defensive when I have questioned the absurd prices for a simple all-over polish or their poor work. I have also witnessed this behavior with other customers as well, with the staff even going so far as talking about customers after they have left, with new ones that are currently getting their services done. I have lost count how many times they have left my nails unevenly shaped, filed, poorly polished, and done everything but what I have asked for. When I get french, half of my nails will have a thicker line of polish than the others. If I pick a lighter color, they will rush through the job and carelessly apply only two coats of polish when the nail is clearly splotchy, see-through, and needs another coat. When I ask for a coffin shape, I get a bizarre rectangular shape on 8/10 fingers, and "coffin" on the other two. Half of the time my nails are left lumpy because the acrylic was not applied properly. Other times, when I do French, they don't bother to put a decent base color so my nail doesn't look clear and dirty underneath, even when I ask them to! Yesterday was the last time I will be going there. The gentleman whose station is the first on the left has been very inconsistent with his quality. I never ask for anything complicated. I either ask for a solid color, a simple ombre, or french. Yesterday, in particular, when they didn't have orange powder, I decided to switch to a simple yellow chrome design. I even showed him a picture. This was a very light color, but he proceeded to do only two coats of polish and not even do the chrome I asked for. He quickly and haggardly applied the top coat, but didn't even let me dry for one cycle with the lamp before telling me that I was done. Of course, he didn't bother to clean around the cuticle afterwards either. When I got home, already frustrated, I was appalled to see that my top coat was sticky and I could poke or rub on it and it would come off or slide. The edges / sides of some of my nails are rough and chipping as well. It is safe to say that I am extremely regretful for wasting my money at this place for so long and that I already have my next appointment booked elsewhere. Please don’t waste your time and money here, but rather find somewhere that will give you the quality you deserve. 1. Can see splotchy / see-through especially on my ring finger 2. Can see how my top coat did not dry 3. Nail is chipped and sharp 4. Can see splotchy and ruined top coat"
