"Stayed here for a private family event in nearby Starkville. About 20-30 min drive, and it's very close to the highway. The value was pretty good, and I'd stay here again. The staff was very personable and helpful. The light bulbs were out on the desk in my room abd and a staff member immediately came to rectify the situation. My 2 qualms were the cleanliness of the room and breakfast. The desk and nightstand surfaces were not wiped down well. I used my Lysol wipes to replace a sticky substance from the desk. Also, the shower looked like it needed a good scrub. Since I did this anyway, I didn't report that to the staff. Breakfast was dismal and disappointing. I wanted toast and oatmeal. On day one, there was no toast or oatmeal when I went to breakfast. The sausage hash was pretty good and filling. On day 2, there was still no bread, but there were oatmeal packets. I kept trying to figure out what the jelly, peanut butter, and cream cheese were for if there was no bread. I also didn't see any yogurt. Breakfast offerings are one of the reasons I chose this hotel. I've stayed in quite a few Fairfields and haven't seen it this bad. Hopefully this was a one-off due to the large crowds staying there."

"If you want to sleep and aren’t deaf, don’t stay here. It’s right on the highway and has the thinnest windows and walls I’ve ever seen. The traffic sounds like you’re standing on the side of the highway. The WiFi is impossibly slow. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. Despite asking for housekeeping service and being gone all day for three days straight, our room was never visited at all. Couldn’t complain in person bc there was never anyone at the front desk. We ended up leaving a day early to not have to stay one more night there. Only good things were a decent sized room and bathroom."

"Hotel overall was very clean, I was very impressed with the cleanliness of a hotel that allows pets. Breakfast area was also clean. But even though the Bonvoy App has in my preference that I wanted my service daily there was obviously a form that you needed to complete at check in, that we didn’t get. We completed the form for housekeeping on day three, but room still didn’t get serviced. Also we had left over food from the previous guests still in the refrigerator. I was very disappointed by the end of the trip since I thought it was so clean. The guys working in breakfast area were very friendly and the breakfast was good. 2 waffles makers with different flavors of waffle batter, that was great! Had to get fresh towels from the front desk, 4 days of dirty towels on the bathroom floor. 4 days of trash in the room. Not sure if I will be returning to this one next year, if we can help it. Nice hotel but needs more attention to professional detail."

"The staff here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! they were extremely friendly and helpful, always had a smile on their faces and were happy to help anytime. I did not get the lady’s name at the front office (she has short hair) but she really deserves a raise! Exceptional customer service! 5/5"
