"Every sleep in I stay at is always such a positive experience for me but this location was the BEST! The hotel itself is so clean and the location is perfect, you have many stores / food options around you. But what really did it for me was the staff. Jaqwanna up at the front desk was so kind and sweet and accommodating there’s no better person you could have representing the front of that hotel. The housekeeping was super helpful and nice. THANK YOU! Anytime I’m back in this area I will be coming here no doubt."

"Safety First..I wanted to stop before Birmingham. This is a safe location, no concerns parking my car outside. nothing sketchy about the area. Lots of food choices. My room was clean, bed was clean, no smells, no stains, no mold. I got a value price hotel without sacrificing quality. I will probably stay here again."

"If you are looking for luxurious, may I recommend the Elyton Hotel. However, if what you seek is clean, comfortable, and affordable, this is THE place to stay in the Birmingham metro area. The staff was very friendly, and the included breakfast was well stocked. I noticed extra padding in the carpet which no doubt helped the rooms stay quiet allowing for a good night's rest."

"Wish the soundproofing were better so we didn't hear showers running next door and up stairs. But the freshly baked cookies at the reception desk when we checked in were a treat. No one was at the front desk when we arrived for almost 10 minutes. We called and telephoned, and no one answered. The receptionist was baking cookies and could not hear anyone at the front desk. That situation needs improving. Breakfast was great."
