"do NOT buy fresh frozen tilapia from this store., i bought a package of the kind called BEST CHOICE last Thursday thawed out 4 filets and cooked them the last two days but had to toss them because they smelled like ammonia, that was 11.99 i wasted, i have brought back too many batches of meat i couldnt eat from this store., like the time years ago i bought a few packages of beef taco meat and had to return them because they had bits of bone in them so you .couldnt eat them,. . unless youre buying fresh chicken from Miller, id stay away from the fresh meats if i were you. . that store specializes in all the bad foods for you, caffeine, sugar and alcohol,. i go there as little as possible., ive been going to that store since i moved in this house on north cline, July 1983, costs too much and the bosses couldnt care less about their customers health .just how much money they spend in there., , their baked chicken thighs are good, thats about it to me besides the fresh sliced low salt turkey.and their fresh baked goods, otherwise its just a haven for lottery tickets, alcohol, caffeine , too much salt as in chips and too much sugar, as in pop.i like being healthy. . this isnt a place to buy any healthy foods. one aisle like Whole Foods is just that, not a whole store.plus the real people who work there, the carryouts, needed a raise last year, you know, more than a dollar. greedy bosses."
"Bakery needs to get it together. Third time buying Irish soda bread. Clearly marked iris soda bread, but it’s actually the orange cranberry or whatever it’s called. Very disappointing. Do better."
"I shop here weekly and never have any problems. Store is clean, employees are friendly, it's usually pretty busy which is good for business and bad if you're in a hurry. They have several self scan registers, which is helpful if you have a few items."
"I am beyond grateful to the cake decorator in the bakery here at this store! Her name was Katie and she went above and beyond with my cake request. I asked for a simple half sheet with Mickey Mouse decorations, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and because it’s cream cheese frosting we all know it’s hard to decorate, but Katie met my request! And the rest of the bakery employees were extremely polite and attentive Thank you Stracks!!!"
"The reopening looks amazing on this store. It's a quick 5 stars from me because I have yet to have a bad experience at least for now and hopefully not ever. The employees I run into are very kind and helpful and just in general do what they need to. I'm still amazed that they have sushi chefs, and it tastes great. The variety of things they have to offer is a breath of fresh air. If this stracks is the closest one to you I say it's the best one to go to."
