Crown Point Vacuum Supply

"Do not use this company. Installed my central vac to my new home three years ago (not enough outlets so I can't reach my whole house even after I complained to him never fixed). One year after install problems with the vac he comes out blames me for not doing something right. I pay him. Two years after install he states needs a new motor will be covered by warranty except his labor. I pay. Three years after install tells me he is no longer doing central vac but he will contact the company about the same motor sound. Never hear back anything (which is usual, you have to call and call and call him). I give up on him call the manufacturer direct. My seriel number has never been replaced under warranty. They send another company out within two days of my call and have to replace the whole system but the manufacturer covers almost all the cost. I let him know and he is like glad you got it fixed. What?????"

"Great place to get parts and vacuum supplies. Repairs are reasonable. I have a Kirby Generation 3 and have been getting my bags and belts here for years."

"I read the reviews and was not planning on using this place but decided I would call and speak with the gentleman personally. Spoke with Mike on a Friday who was very nice and he said he would be in at 9:30 the next Tuesday to meet my husband there with our vacuum cleaner. He explained he had very limited hours. But assured me he opens at 9:30 and not the 10 o’clock his website says. I left him a message the night before confirming my husband would be there on Tuesday at 9:30. My husband went there at 9:30 and waited in the lot until 1015 and Mike never showed up. I called and left him three messages that my husband was waiting on his only day off work -and never heard back. Wish I would’ve listened to the reviews and the word of mouth in our subdivision which was he’s almost never there- never returns calls. Went to Munster and the people there said they get at least four people a week that bring their work to them because they are dissatisfied with Crown point. We are thrilled that they get his business. Gentleman was very very nice but that’s worthless if he promises to be somewhere and his business is not even open. He earned his three star review. He could have a good business if he dealt with whatever issues keep him from actually running a business well."

He keeps accurate records of the service he has performed on my vacuums over the years and is always quick to supply me with bags and belts, even if I don't bring in the model number. He just seems to remember things like that. Where do you find service like that anywhere?"
