"The cutest coffee shop in Little Italy! The atmosphere is so cute for reading, working, or catching up with friends and the service is so friendly! The chocolate croissant was delicious and I’d definitely recommend the matcha!"

"Great vibe and plenty of super comfortable seating (and outlets, and fast Wi-Fi) that would make any digital nomad drool. Comes with an instagrammable wall as a bonus. Menu is large with various sandwiches, paninis, pastries and bagels. Docked one star because while the atmosphere is hyped, the coffee is a let down. Machine is not high quality and both the drip coffee and Americano were incredibly bland. Come for the great seating, but consider getting coffee elsewhere."

"I usually go to Starbucks…but Two Shades was closer…so I decided to try it. My latte was delicious!! A great surprise! I tried a plain cup of coffee later..that was a little acidic for me. Great atmosphere with cozy, plush furniture and unique artwork. I’ll definitely skip Starbuck’s and come hangout at Two Shades!"

"Two Shades Cafe is a cute coffee shop located next to the UIC campus. Great place to hang out and/or get some work done while enjoying coffee and other delicious treats. We tried the Caramel Macchiato and Chocolate Chip cupcake and both were a 10/10. We also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and quesadilla . The grilled cheese and soup was a hit with my kids. The quesadilla was also really good, really enjoyed the jalapeño in it. Overall had a wonderful experience during my first visit. The staff is super friendly and welcoming."
