"I read all the great reviews on this place and was very excited to come in and get a new hair/beard style for a friend's wedding. When I arrived just after 1:30 PM on 9/2/2021 the shop was closed with no sign explaining why on the door. The hours listed on Google and on their own door said that should be open until 8 PM on Thursdays. Very disappointing. I was quite looking forward to the great service that I read about in the reviews."

"In town for a family event and my nephew needed a hair cut. He sat in the chair of the first female barber to ever cut his hair, Aretha. She was so patient with my nephew (5 years old) as he was busy moving a lot in the chair. The customer service was superb from the time I walked in the door. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and the vibe of the place made me feel as if I was also receiving services other than my son getting his hair cut. Aretha did a great job on my nephew. Next time I’m in Hoover visiting family and need service from here, this will always be my go to.
