"If I could give zero stars I would. I drove from Decatur, dropped off my clothes and was told it would take 30 minutes. I shopped in the store for an hour, bought a shirt and left. I decided to wait another 30 minutes. Called them and asked how much longer. They said they couldn't find my clothes. So, THREE hours later they found them and said they couldn't take any of my clothes! Most were new with tags. They never did send a text and when I looked in the bags, I could tell they never looked at my clothes. They were still folded the way I had them with the same items on top. So, they lied! Wasted my time and gas! The Platos Closet n Huntsville is wonderful, the girls were so sweet and took 20 items!"

"The employees ruin what could be a nice experience. They talk and gossip, even about the owner and scheduling!!, as if they are the only people in that small store. Their voices are nonstop. Sad. Clothes are fine, fairly expensive but vetted well…"
"I took two baskets full of barely worn name brand (Lily Pulitzer, Calvin Klein, Loft and more) clothes in on Tuesday and was told they would call me when they were ready in about 30 minutes. Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon and I ended up calling them because I hadn’t heard anything. First the associate couldn’t find my clothes and then they were magically ready. When I went to pickup I was told they were passing on all items due to them “not matching the styles currently on shelves.” Keep in mind these are jeans, blouses, dress pants, etc. and are very much the same things on their shelves right now. I believe they didn’t even look through my clothes and just said they did. They missed out on an awesome opportunity because I just wanted these out of my house and would have sold for next to nothing. Needless to say, I won’t be back."
"I’ve been taking my work clothes to a thrift shop. I decided to try selling to Style Encore. I didn’t get a lot of money for the clothes, but more than I would have if I just dropped them at a thrift shop. And, Taylor, the manager, is amazingly nice, helpful and professional!"
