Kathleen's Bridal

"I DO NOT recommend going to Kathleen's Bridal if you want a wonderful experience. I called and spoke with Megan over the phone and gave 2 specific dresses with their style name and number, without hesitation, she said both of the dresses were $195.00. I asked what the deposit would be, and she said,"$110.00". I did not get a warm feeling over the phone with her, so I decided to go to the store the very next day to speak with her in person. She was assisting someone, but she did acknowledge me and came over. I explained to her that I had called the day before and she remembered who I was. I was very pleasant with her, but did not receive a pleasant feeling from her. We discussed the dresses again, I asked her what the deposit would be, and she said, "about half" then turned around within the same sentence and said 60%. I then asked her if the $195 included the taxes, Megan said no. I told her I have a total of 14 Ladies in my wedding and we were all going to order from her and would there be any type of discount, if there was a large order of dresses. She said, "No, because I would have to pay taxes on shipping the dresses here." That's not true because we would be charged shipping and taxes on the dresses. I then asked her where the dresses we had discussed were, and she pointed to the area where they were. I went to the dresses and discovered she lied about the prices of the dresses. One of the dresses I asked her about had a price tag of $174, the other dress was $168. Those are significant differences in the price she quoted me over the phone and in person. She told me as I was leaving the store that she would call me later that day to finish discussing the dresses. I never heard from her. Megan did not give a warm welcome and she clearly made me feel that she did not want my business or the 14 Ladies of my wedding party because we are Black/African American. Do not waste your time with this business because clearly Megan is comfortable with not wanting money from a different race. I took my business elsewhere and was extremely satisfied."

"This was my first time going wedding dress shopping and I said yes to the dress! When I first arrived, I was able to shop and pull dresses that I thought I would like. After trying most of them on, I felt like I was missing something. Then the owner of the store came and offered to help. She pulled one dress based off of what I liked/disliked about the dresses I had tried on previously. She came back with the most BEAUTIFUL dress within my budget. She even offered me advice on bridesmaid dresses and colors! I felt so much more confident after leaving there! If you want someone who has tons of experience and knows what looks best, go here!"

"Was HEARTBROKEN for my best friend’s experience of this place. She was so excited to go here and try on dresses for her special day. She’s too nice to leave a review but the consultant she was with (supposedly the owner, which is even more upsetting) was very rude, did NOT take her requests into account at all because apparently the type of dress she wanted “wouldn’t work for her,” alluding to her body type. She brought her dresses that were the opposite of what she requested, and became so overwhelmed by the experience that she left in tears. Thankfully, Birch on Main came through and she was able to purchase her dream dress from them. But I would never recommend this shop to ANYONE after what my best friend experienced here today. So disappointed."

"Today was Amazing!!! I said yes to my dress. The staff at Kathleen's Bridal are soooooo sweet and professional. I felt like I was a part of their family. Mrs. Lori was my stylist, and she was amazing! She was very patient and very educated about her products and designers. I recommend everyone to shop with Kathleen's Bridal, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!!! Loved my entire experience. My 4-year-old niece said yes to her dress as well. She is so in love with her flower girl dress."
