"This is legit, Salvadorean food. If you’ve never had pupusas, you are in for a treat. I’ve been telling my wife for a couple of years that I was craving them but you have to drive to Nashville or Atlanta to get them. The food took some time to prepare, but you could tell that these were made from scratch and oh my word they were delicious. Worth the wait and the price per pupusa is unbeatable."
"Good food, reasonably priced. They cook the food on site, fresh while you wait. I highly recommend it. I drove 40 mile and don’t regret it, I even placed an order to-go."
"The restaurant is not ran well. It smelled dirty in there. Floors were definitely not up to health code. On top of that, my takeout order took 30 minutes to prepare even though I was the only one there. When I asked when my food will be ready, the young lady hurried back and packaged the food. Obviously realizing she completely forgot about my order. Do not recommend this place."
"I have lived in Huntsville for more than 10 years and the only option to eat Salvadoran food was either Pelham AL, Nashville or Atlanta. Sometimes you would see people sell them on Facebook market place but it was a hassle. This place is literally a hole in the wall and it was great!! If hispanic construction workers are eating there, that's when you know the food is straight from the source. Yes you have to drive to Athens but it's worth it, especially for me since I'm Salvadoran"
"Great spot for Salvadoran food in Athens! Everything we had was delicious and cooked to order. Highly recommend the bean pupusas and don’t forget the homemade slaw toppings and hot sauce. Can’t wait to try more items off the menu. They did close a bit early (6pm) so if you want dinner place a to go order and go pickup before they close."
