"The server took my order, brought my food and she did not return until she dropped off my check. Apparently, my food, except my eggs, was not freshly prepared because everything was room temperature, or just plain cold, including the bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were not hot enough to even melt the butter. It was one of the most disappointing meals at CB I have experienced. I was actually dining between the early morning and noon rush so there were very few people in the dining area."

"I think they were just having an "off" day... we were a party of 6. No southern chicken (machine broke - huh?), chicken pot pies are 30 minutes to cook... it is a Sunday after church in the South! You gotta be ready! :) Servers were moving quick and very polite. I like the pay from your phone option so no standing in line... I do wonder how that is controlled since no one is checking your receipt. :/"

"This Cracker Barrel store is just off I-65 in Hartselle, Alabama. The service here has always been very good. This visit at breakfast was no exception. Jasmine was our server and she did an excellent job. The food was cooked the way we like it. We had french toast, with scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage on the side. The coffee was good (not burned and served hot) and Jasmine kept our cups filled. There is plenty of parking available and the restaurant and adjoining store were very clean. The wall displays are interesting and, in this store, there are more unique items on display than we see in many Cracker Barrel restaurants."
