"Stumbled upon this amazingly charming cafe about a month ago on the way home from a road trip. It was past lunch time, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us anyway. We were so impressed with their kindness and hospitality, that this will definitely become a pit stop for us from now on! Oh and I forgot to mention that the food was delicious too! "I want to start by say two things. One, I’ve heard such great things and wanted to love this place the way so many do. And two, I’m not normally one to write a review but I hope this helps them make some improvements. I went there for breakfast this morning with my mom and 16 month old son. When we walked in I asked if they had high chairs, which they did but they were up on a landing up a flight of stairs. I thought the girl might go get us one but instead my mother in her 60’s was trying to bring down this high chair and can’t see her feet. Now yes, I should have handed her the baby and got it myself but she was already up the stairs before it dawned on me. Just something little I feel like the staff who are getting paid and my tip should have done since the only other thing she did do was bring our food and take our plates. I paid over $50 after tip for 2 meals and 2 iced coffees which I felt was a lot given the amount of food we got was a little disappointing(my moms more so than mine) and her quiche was cold when they brought it out. It also took a while to come out and we were one of two people in there at the time. The food tasted good but my waffles were so sweet I couldn’t finish them and my moms piece of quiche was very small and not what I expected having paid 13.50 for it. Overall I left feeling like I wayyyyy overpaid for what we got and just overall disappointed. I really wanted to love this place."
